We always enjoy staying at this hotel. It is very convenient for galleries, walks and cycle routes. The breakfast menu g
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location within very easy walking to the excellent art gallery, the interesting museum and the harbour and shops. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and the food good. We especially enjoyed the garden during the hot weather.

Cons:

We were disappointed with the size of the room - it wasn’t billed as a small double on Booking.com. It would have been fine for a single night or for single occupancy but was very cramped and was quite noisy being very close to the kitchens. We have stayed in several other of their rooms previously and would definitely recommend booking one of standard size.

The dining room has a slightly odd feel, like the table & chairs are waiting to be moved for the dancing to start.
