Vriendelijk personeel. Leuk oud hotelletje
Warmte, door warmte raam open en daardoor veel verkeer geluiden
Breakfast was very nice. Hotel needs a bit of a refresher.
Was a bit dirty
Lovely staff at the hotel, the facilities were outdated and the location was at a very busy roundabout and motorway hence the name, Tudor style but had good breakfast.
Really friendly & helpful staff. Good food.
Incredibly cheap hotel, perfect for 1 night.
Made to feel very welcome, and it was totally dog friendly!
My bed was a bit lumpy, so I had to bunk in with my mum!
Hotel was well situated for arriving on ferry from Spain and had a reasonably safe place to park our motorcycles, the lady who was on duty behind the bar was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived (didn't get her name) breakfast was also very filling and tasty.
Creaky stairs and a little bit tired, obviously that is due to the age of the building and only added to the character.
Friendly clean and everything you need.
Zentrale Lage und schnell erreichbar
Das Hotel ist etwas zu alt und könnte einen Neuanstrich gebrauchen
Breakfast was ok .. eggs a little overdone but not unacceptable.
Location to joining A27 couldn’t be easier
Traffic on the roundabout didn’t disturb me.
Bed was supposed to be a double as I recall from booking ..it was a single. The mattress was way beyond done. Didn’t sleep during the night as I felt all the springs in the middle of the mattress. Marks and dents in the walls and a hole in the bathroom door filled with what looked like toilet paper. The hot tap on the sink was constantly dripping and after flushing the toilet it ran on for ages afterwards. The radiator is looking rusty in the bathroom too. The lamp shade was not straight on the lamp, on closer inspection the shade was actually broken. Most of these issues are easy fixes. A new mattress some paint, polyfilla, a new door, tap washer and a lamp shade could make this room worthy of the price The whole room gives the impression the owners don’t care as long as they get the money.
I was told management would sort it out in the morning, a little vague but no one has bothered to contact me.
I realise it’s an old building but if you don’t care about maintaining it, sell it.
The picture with the shoes in the sink is from the disabled toilet by the restaurant…why?
Great location srated a few times now very good for our dog perfect he loved his stay lovely staff great breakfast
Coming home
Conveniente para tomar los Ferries. El personal muy amable.
A las instalaciones les caería bien una remodelación y más cuidado. La comida podría mejorar.
The Bar area was ok , The food was ok, and the staff were friendly.
It was “shabby”, in desperate need of renervation. It’s on a very busy round-about so noisy through the night with traffic.
The bar area is lovely and the food good and good value. Room was really spacious and overall a quirky building
Room was impossibly hot being at the top of the building. A fan but no air con and road noise meant couldn’t have windows open.
No where to drop card for an early morning checkout and breakfast wasn’t available. Good size car park but could do with a clean up and the little garden needs some TLC
The staff were helpful
The room was tired, the paint cracked, the plumbing out of the ark. The room was not checked adequately. The food was awful - how can you mess up a cheeseburger ? The hotels decor was out of the sixties. I didn’t realise that hotels like this still existed in the uk.
Easy to find. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good, the poached eggs were perfect.
Unfortunately, it was too hot, the fan was really noisy in one room, and wasn't in the other. A lot of the items it said were in the room weren't there. The TV ariel was hanging out the wall, so it didn't work.
We were just unlucky to visit during a heatwave, I am sure at a more optimum time of year it would have been fine.
The hotel lovely fantastic food staff very friendly and helpful honestly fantastic pace to stay
The room was I need of an update damaged bathroom door looked like someone had given it a good kick in need of makeover and the bed needs to go no headboard at the base of the bed only the middle left the pillows which was flat as anything although they gave you more if asked they all flat and kept sliding down the back of the bed the mattress wasn't comfortable either I woke up with such a bad back worst night's sleep I have ever had.
It was also very noisy slot of banging from doors shutting all through the night .
Very good breakfast, room very comfortable, staff very friendly, would definitely use this hotel again if visiting the area.
I am more shower person, so not a fan of bath shower, but fully understand a bath covers both choices, so support handles would be nice, I am 73 and just had knee surgery.
The hotel is quite dated but we had a very comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome. Great value for money.
It needs some updating as looks tired and dated.
Breakfast very nice.
Traffic noise. Impossible.
