The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the rooms were amazing.
One staff member in particular was rude to my just married wife when checking in and we had to ask 4 times for jugs of water only for them to bring bottled water which we would have to pay for. We waited an hour and a half after our scheduled time to be seated at our table.

The room proportions are a bit small
Visited Scunthorpe to tour the steelworks by train and stayed here before. Good continental breakfast and a superb meal in the restaurant.

Nice looking building, close to a supermarket & town.
Had to hold the lift button the whole time you are in the lift, can’t use lift after certain times. Room had dark decor, window only opened a tiny bit, it was the hottest 2 days of the year, (fan provided was rubbish)I got no sleep, no air con in rooms.it was my son wedding, we couldn’t have our dog there so had to keep going to a relatives to check on her.for the amount I paid I thought there would of been a bigger more up to date tv.

The lights in reception, down the corridor to the stairs are on sensors, they need to come on a few seconds earlier. No air con!! Hottest weekend of the year and the fan provided was useless.

Will definately go again. Loved the decor in the hotel and redtaurant and really enjoyed sitting in the Italian garden with a fabulous lincolnshire lemon and li.e gin and tonic.

The room was very clean and comfortable
They do not offer a reception desk after 6pm on Sunday or offer breakfast on a Monday in spite of a notice that clearly states they do so between 7-9 am! (It was included in the price I was charged on Booking.Com)
Recent refurbishment is successful, our room while small had all the needs for the including fresh real milk in fridge for the brew. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with fruit meats and cheeses, served by a delightful and helpful morning team. Location not in the most glamorous location but uber was handy to transport you to date.
