Disappointing poor service not value for money

Poor service at breakfast 50 minutes wait for a cooked breakfast
Tea was per cup and weak
Toast was cold both days
No butter had to ask twice
Also had to ask for sauce.

Room service I ordered cheese and biscuits with pickle and grapes no grapes and six oat biscuits with only enough cheese for three biscuits at a push.
We were constantly asked if staying for evening meals including 3 emails before we arrived.

Het verblijf was erg fijn :). Zeker een aanrader.
Pros:

De kamers waren erg ruim met een mooi uitzicht op de rivier. Sochtends zelfs een klein konijntje gezien voor het raam (begane grond). De ligging is erg afgelegen maar dat vonden wij prima voor 1 nacht. De douche was geweldig alsook het avondeten en ontbijt.

Service charge added to restaurant bill without notification.

Offered a glass of water with the meal and charged £4 for it.

Luxury at an affordable price.
Pros:

Everything! I am struggling to pick out one area that was particularly good, but that is difficult after such a delightful stay. The restaurant was wonderful and even the breakfast sublime. It's just a really nice place to go to wind down and relax.

Cons:

However hard I try, I can't think of anything that needed improvement.

Pros:

The location. Ground floor roo with patio access

Cons:

Need to have sheer violes or something over patio doors. Its either darkness with drawn curtains or windows without any privacy screening.
