Lovely location
Friendly staff
It is a beautiful lovation
The room was not that big also i did not book what they call a cosy room just as well
Obviously the weather was hot you cant open the window fully
Also it said breakfast included it is only continental
The location was lovely and the sitting outside for breakfast was nice, and our meal at the Jetty was lovely. Your staff were friendly.
The room I felt was very tired, (a crack in the basin which was filled with filler not repaired), the bathroom was dated, the room needs a paint around the door, the fridge in the cupboard was acting more like a heater making the room really hot. (so hot I'd say it felt like a fire risk).. A fan that did nothing (you need AC), and a ant problem not just on the terrace but also on the bed side tables. But overall the room was also very tight for space. Parking that was slightly chaotic, luckily i lucked in when someone left, Although we had a great anniversary break, I'm sorry but the room was a bit of a disappointment. Also as my wife is coeliac there was some part of the breakfast that could not be provided, it seemed very poor that those items were not replaced with either duplicates or replacements of things that are gluten free. (BTW hash browns ARE gluten free!). Good coeliac experiences spread fast in their community (as do bad), This is an untapped resource as far as your hotel is concerned. (Note the Jetty is great for this and has a good reputation, and the reason we chose you)
Everything was fabulous. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The food is excellent, breakfast and dinner in both restaurants.
The rooms are very hot
Clen room great bed quiet and comforable
Booking.com didn't indicate that the Spa.and.pools.were closed for.refurbishment.
The food was terrible. Such bad quality Fish lasagne.was days.old. Dry, overcooked. Cheap ingredients. Tasted like a dolmio bechamel sauce. That cost £26. Horrendous. Starters were overdone standard toast with dips. The mayonnaise/ tomato.sauce dip sums up the place. Overpriced. Trying to be highly end, but is definitely not.
Booking.com indicated that breakfast is included. On arrival we were informed that breakfast is included, but only continental. Again, thus wasn't indicated when I booked.
The trip was a treat for my partner. Standing there complaining was not an option. Disappointed.
AVOID
Bed was very comfortable
At the last minute was told the wet spa facilities weren’t available because refurbishing was running late which wasn’t so bad itself but also that there was a site office right outside one of our windows and the other window had the site skip bin underneath
The waterside resturant. The grounds overlooking the bay.
There were no external tables with sun umbrellas in the garden areas overlooking the sea / bay. So little opportunity of sitting outside in the sunshine to admire the sea setting. Room was small, no air conditioning, adjacent to car park noise, and not cleaned well each day. Car park totally overcrowded and double parked so you could be hemmed in.Little internal sitting areas. Basically very overpriced for what you get £260 + per night - value nearer £160.00 per night.
Great location, lovely stuff, amazing food and great rooms
Unfortunately the spa was shut which wasnt advertised when we booked. No aircon in rooms
Great location. Excellent, friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Room was unbearably hot. No proper preparation made to cool the rooms - the heat wave was forecast. The single old fashioned fan was woefully inadequate.
Location is amazing and allowed us to enjoy Mudeford. We moved our room with a balcony overlooking the gardens and the harbour. Food was excellent in The Jetty and breakfast.
Unfortunately the spa was closed for refurbishment, as the time to finish the work has been extended several times. Wedding parties made some of the public areas quite crowded. Parking was a little chaotic but the hotel tried hard to make it work.
The location is perfect, the food is delicious. The bed is very comfortable. What more could you ask for
Difficult to say goodbye!
