Perfection! Loved every second and stayed an extra night.

Superbly comfortable room and bathroom, quiet and peaceful, friendly helpful staff, delightful spa facilities and pool as part of our stay, lovely idea also to offer some free local gin on a tray in the room to try if you wanted to, of course we did. Continental breakfast varied generous and delicious in a lovely dining room overlooking the water.

Nice location, nice place. In the heart of salcombe and wonderful views. The 'glimpse' room missells it, its actually wonderful, just step onto your balcony and its boatsmageddon. Fab.

Cons:

Dinner on night 1; mine was great, my partner's wasn't, it took ages; there was a wedding on so thought their attention was elsewhere. Plenty of old regulars the staff paid attention to with their shaggy dog stories where we sat waiting. Did give us a discount on the bill which was nice, but we had dinner elsewhere in salcombe for the rest of the week.

Amazing venue and amazing staff and fantastic room
Pros:

We really liked the staff they were very friendly and attentive. The hotel also had a nice relaxed feel. We also received an upgrade that was a lovely surprise.

Cons:

As far as we were concerned we booked bed and breakfast. We were then told we would have to pay an extra £10 per person per breakfast if we wanted a cooked breakfast. We believe booking.com should have informed us of this when we made the booking.

Position fantastic, bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Service in the restaurant was disorganised. Meal excellent but on a table for 4, meals arrived at different times. Too many people sitting down at the same time.

Loved the whole experience, the food in the jetty was exceptional in the evening and breakfast was great too … the staff in the jetty were brilliant from the bar staff to the serving staff and chef … the receptionist was very polite and eased us into the hotel very professionally. We loved our stay and will be back …!

Parking was tight but then it is in salcombe so expected that !!!
