Clean. Well furnished. Nice staff.
Great pool and spa.
Room (114) was very tight spaces.
Location
Room 401 far too hot, no fan in the room which is not good when ur in the attic rooms. When I mentioned the heat in the room I got a very short sharp response about “nothing they can do about the heat”(maybe provide a fan in 34 degree heat)!!! Two steps up to shower and shower too small for size of bathroom. Lift didn’t go to 4th floor and no offer of help with cases…not good when u have mobility issue. Patio was a little shabby. Bar server didn’t know how to make an espresso martini even tho there is a cocktail menu.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and the view from the
hotel is stunning.
Nothing not to like,
will definitely be returning.
Easy to find, great views from restaurant and terrace. Rooms were well appointed.
Room was at the back of the hotel looking at a brick wall and airless. We asked to move and the replacement room was brighter but was smaller and on the top floor. There was 1 small lift and if the doors were not closed properly by the previous user it was stuck. The hotel is called the Harbour but it is a long way from the harbour or the centre of town up a very steep hill. Parking was awkward, there was a drop off area opposite the hotel then staff would drive your car to the off-site car park and when you needed your car the would return it to the drop-off area. We were told to give 10 minutes notice but when we needed the car it was 25-30 minutes before we were able to start off.

Nothing
The view from the hotel was stunning and was a short walk ( although down hill! ) to the town . There were parking facilities which is essential in St Ives . The outdoor seating area was really nice with an amazing view . The staff were very helpful . The dining room had a great view as well and we had two nice meals there . The spa and pool are great and you can sit outside and see the sea . We had a lovely room with a good view but no balcony
On arriving reception staff weren’t very friendly which was a pity as all the other staff were lovely . It is a quite a long walk to the beach and going back is all up hill
nice welcome
room a bit small
Great to have a Harbour Hotel in St Ives.
Comfortable stay and good value out of season.
The town was surprisingly busy - even on a Monday evening!
Will return.
הרצפה חורקת
Excellent breakfast with excellent staff, particularly the chap in charge who was very helpful
Not easy to open windows in our room
This is a lovely hotel in an ideal location. We stayed in an inland view room with toddler so also had a cot in the room. Was a nice size, a bit of a squeeze with the added cot but no issues at all. A lovely room. Bathroom nice and fresh, shower and bath not the best but does the job. Very happy with the room. All staff were really nice and helpful especially the breakfast team, the maintaince man and the young lad who parks the cars.
Location and views are amazing. The spa is beautiful also.
There were a few issues during our stay. Two days there was a problem in the kitchen so either no or limited cooked breakfast. This was no problem to us but understand it could be to others. The lift broke which was ennoying as we had the pram and were staying on the 3rd floor. The spa was out of action one day due to too high chlorine. Our mini bar was not cold enough which meant we couldn't keep milk in there as it spoiled. We were lucky enough to stay during a British heatwave but the rooms and hotel as a whole was very hot, could benefit from air-conditioning but being in the UK it is not often needed.
Overall a lovely hotel in a fab location. St ives is stunning. The sea and beaches are unbelievable. We had a wonderful stay here at harbour hotels.
Access to Porthminster beach, big room and bathroom. Spa was a nice touch
Didn’t know it was valet parking without easy access to the car. Bathroom was huge but sink/shower was tiny in comparison. Very hot room with no AC. Breakfast was very average. Fridge was broken and not repaired after request
Lage des Hotels war sehr schön. Etwas außerhalb, aber fußläufig zur Innenstadt.
Service am Empfang und im Restaurant. Schlecht organisiert. Falsche Abrechnung. Wenig zuvorkommend.
The lication was perfect. On the first day of our stay there was a good availability of the various items. Service was prompt. However on the second morning there was distinct lack of items on display, the coffee and tea were very slow to arrive. Not what you would expect for a hotel of the Harbour quality.
There was a stain on the mattress protector and was only changed when i complained. The complimentary gin was less than a single each and i would rather they didnt bother than offer such a small offer. In the past the decanters were half filled. We dont need that but if you do something do it right or not at all.

The view. The barmaid, Lauren, and a guy in the kitchen played piano beautifully and should be playing regularly. Great talents wasted... although Great bartender and kitchen staff
No walk in shower even though requested.
