Fantastic building & location. Nice bar and restaurant. Very comfortable bed with absolutely everything you would need for a hotel stay.
There isn’t air con but it wasn’t a problem as the hotel is quite airy and we had a powerful fan in our room.
Convenient spot near to town and theatre
Great air con downstairs
Friendly staff
Nice decor
Enjoyed the evening meal with My Fair Lady themed menu
Bedrooms too warm despite fans being provided
Lift very small and with extremely creaky door at reception level!
Air conditioned restaurant / bar area. Very convenient for CFT. Good food / excellent breakfast selection
Limited parking
Beautifully appointed room with very comfortable bed.
No air conditioning. Well communicated in advance but just not really comfortable in 37+ degrees in summer.
Beau lieu et bel emplacement
Décoration soignée et accueil agréable
Salle de bain petite, fenêtres impossibles à ouvrir plus que de quelques centimètres, dommage lorsque l’été est chaud et l’hôtel sans climatisation
The ambience of the building was lovely. The quality of the bed linen, towels and comfort of the mattress were exceptional.I liked the friendliness of the staff particularly as we were part of a group attending a wedding. The mini bar fridge size was large allowing for other purchases such as a pint of milk for tea.
We ordered room service one night which let the hotel down and reduced my score .a cheese toastie and fries should be delivered in an edible state, this was hot bread without pickles as per menu and unmelted cheese. We had over salted fries and condiments were not delivered.
Coffee in the bar available throughout the day. Breakfast good.Location excellent for evening shows at the Chichester Festival Theatre. The fan was appreciated as no air con.
We experienced a lot of noise of someone walking up and down the room above until 2 am. Need to sort the flloorboards or put in more floor insulation.
I came here for 1 night as my dad is on end of life care at st Richard’s and I live in London the lady behind the welcome desk was absolutely amazing. She was kind caring supportive and all round fantastic eith the situation I am in currently. She helped me she made me feel better and she listen to me she made my feeling valid and was just so kind beyond words and I will never forget it
Nothing
Good location, nice Spa facilities, good restaurant.
All very good
We like the central location, clean and comfortable rooms and en suite bathrooms. We've stayed here many times.
Very busy at breakfast (9.00am) so service was slow
Well positioned in the city centre. Friendly staff. Clean room.
Central location
Food poor
It was close to everything we needed for the stay
The bar staff were very rude at the end of the night wasn’t at the bar to serve going missing for long periods of time didn’t call last orders so wasn’t aware that it shut so was told they wasn’t serving anymore
Great and mostly quiet location on the edge of the town centre, with shops, cafes and restaurants all withing a few minutes' walk.
A well presented building with characterful communal areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was a good size, with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. A large fan was provided, but for the quality of the hotel the room could have benefitted from air conditioning.
The restaurant was very good, with a reduced price theatre menu, and offered a good choice for breakfast, either continental or traditional.
Lack of air conditioning in the room
