Aside from the comments above the hotel and staff were above average.
Cons:

The hotel ran out of breakfast (eggs,milk, OJ) each of the three days of our stay and the servers did not seem to care. They stood around the kitchen and talked.
The hotel charged $15 a day to park and yet two buses occupied 15+ spaces leaving us on one night without a space to park. The buses should have been directed to park in another remote location after dropping off their passengers or the hotel should have refunded our parking fee.

I would stay here again.
Pros:

The AC wasn't working in the room, and once reported it was fixed in a timely fashion. The maintenance person was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Pros:

The pool area, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, they even left fresh towels and toiletries on our second day

Around 1am people hitting door room, staff is not professional, my son forgot a watch and they want I pay $70!! for returning it. We spend a lot money only for 1 night!!!

Quiet, overall. Restful.
Pros:

Location is decent. Fairly quiet off the main Parkway.
Clean rooms, contemporary decor.

Cons:

Breakfast was lacking in variety - powdered eggs and sausage. Waffle maker decent, but no butter near where the station was. Had to search. Pastries limited. At best, average.

A good option in Gatlinburg
Pros:

Comfortable; good value for money

Cons:

The location is out of the center of town; quieter but requires taking the car and expensive parking to go downtown.
Also, one of the elevators did not work

Pros:

The hot breakfast was DELICIOUS!!!

Cons:

We had a late check in due to having to come help our daughter whose car broke down. The man working the front desk had an attitude with us while trying to book over the phone. The woman who helped check us in was good, though.

over great , just a few hiccups
Pros:

the room was clean , and the staff was friendly

Cons:

one of my pillows had dried up blood stains on in, and the weather wasn't good they had a pool and hot tub , i just wish the hot tub was in doors , since it was snowing and the sofa sleeper/couch was not comfortable at all , my son back hurts now
but if they where to make those changes then this would be where i would always select when going into town
