Værelser er fine, behagelige
Super restaurant og bar og fællesområder
The hotel was really lovely and the garden rooms were beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was really good quality. Would stay there again.
Nothing
Lovely hotel in a great central location. Well maintained and decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent throughout our stay.
The bed was perhaps on the firm side, but this might be a personal preference.
Tolles Appartement, Betten prima, super Dusche, gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal, vorzeitig einchecken war problemlos möglich, Parkplätze waren in der Nähe aber kostenpflichtig
Location and staff
Thick dust in room, grime around shower unit room somewhat cramped. Quite a trek to room
Built behind historic facades, this hotel offered a comfortable room with high end decorating. It took two lifts and a walk across an outdoor courtyard to get to reception, restaurants and sitting rooms.
We were hoping to have the bath included in the photographs for the room type we selected and found we only had a shower.
This hotel is an assortment of old terraced houses, e.g., the reception is someone’s old front room, the restaurant is an assortment of rooms where staff visited infrequently to collect orders, etc. it doesn’t work at all.
We were also offered a room which, Ito get there, we had to walk back out the front door, down the street to the main road, and walk about four doors up to another section of terraced buildings on a completely different street, up three floors, the last of which was a twisting narrow and entirely impractical entry to an attic room which wasn’t big enough for one never mind two people. We politely declined this room, and were given room (after a 30 minute wait, whilst the staff whispered and argued about what to do) this other room was small, located next door o the fire escape it looked like it should have been a small storage space, it had a pitched roof on one side which meant the room wasn’t at all functional as a space to move around in.
The corridors (knocked through from one building to the next, are hideous and I’m sure dangerous if you have more than two people leaving in a hurry.
The shower head leaked and dripped loudly all night. The food was very average. We had a couple of cocktails which were nice, but excessively priced.
We’ll return to Bath, but never to this hotel.
