Views from room, pool and restaurant were amazing. We could see day 1 of Esala Perahera (distant view). Staff were friendly. They actually gave us twin beds as requested in booking!
The room was tatty in parts and safe didn’t work (but we didn’t report it). Not enough hot water when showering.

Created a negative impact when cultural show dancers started collecting money from the audience after the show.That was a really an unpleasant experience for all the guests paying a premium price for the ticket and dancers desperately expecting the audience to offer them a tip.That killed the whole effort.Please make sure to avoid such negative practices at your hotel.
La chambre pour trois est vraiment très spacieuse avec un grand balcon et une vue vraiment splendide sur le lac. La literie est très confortable. La salle de bain est très bien avec une douche indépendante. À souligner également beaucoup de rangement dans la chambre. Enfin le petit déjeuner est servi sous forme de buffet. C’est à la fois varié et très bon.
L’hôtel se trouve à 10 minutes à pied du centre.
Éventuellement, les peintures de la chambre pourraient être rafraîchies.

La salle de bains, la douche présentaient des traces de moisissures. Cependant la chambre et l’hôtel sont bien entretenus, c’est propre.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kandy, Sri Lanka on my holiday to back home. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
The location was convenient for exploring Kandy and visiting the main attractions. The hotel also offered a peaceful atmosphere after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious,much love with authentic sri lankan flavoured food to get home made feeling and with a good selection of both local and international dishes.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were impressed by the hospitality and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy and would be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

El restaurante tiene unas vistas espectaculares dela ciudad y del lago
Las habitaciones dan a unos pasillos que quedan abiertos al exterior y hay mucho ruido dr coches. Ademas tiene al lado una perrera y se oye ladrar x la noche. El hotel esta bastante desactualizado y le falta mas limpieza.

There was a big party lasting all afternoon one of our days with very loud music. We were not pre-warned or advised when booking. It made it impossible to rest after an early morning start to the botanical gardens. The breakfast was lacklustre, instant coffee from a packet, and quite basic.
De ligging is mooi, kamers ruim en schoon. Wij kwamen laat aan dus geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Ontbijt meer dan prima.

Er was geen hotelbar, je kon geen cocktail ofzo bestellen.
Minibar alleen bier en red bull.
Avond eten was niet echt sfeervol er zat niemand en de ruimte is kill ondanks mooie uitzicht. Daarvoor moet je bij het restaurant aan de overkant van de weg zijn

The location is great
Our room was dirty, the bedding was stained , the room smelt musty. I booked another hotel and left. Our experience did not match the reviews. The staff offered to change our room and were very nice but I didn’t trust that another room, the kitchen or pool would be clean given the poor condition of the room. This was much more than wear and tear, it’s not caring about the guest experience, not having have standards of cleanliness and in my opinion trading on the fact they have a good view and know that they will get guests. For £5 more we had a much better stay in a lovely hotel. I did not request a refund as it was my choice to leave.

Excellent good value hotel on a hill south of the lake with terrific views of Kandy. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and most have lake views. The view is even better from the lovely rooftop pool and breakfast area looking over the lake to the Temple of the Tooth complex and the rest of the town.
It's a 10 minute downhill walk (take the path beside the shabby Royal Palace Gardens) to the lakeside and then to the temple precincts, the busy market, and the town's restaurants. We enjoyed a morning with excellent guide Buddhima arranged through WithLocals - recommended.
The electronic safe had no power source, so did not work.
