Small room. Didn’t expect that small.
Pros:

Pool is nice. Staff is very friendly.

Cons:

King room is very small. Only bed and bathroom. Hard to find place to put luggage. No room for a chair. Sitting beside pool is the best option. Also close to busy road. Staff is very friendly.

Excellent service in a calm area of Byron Bay
Pros:

Clean, spacious room with lots of natural light. Free access to the bikes to cycle down the road to the local shops and Byron beach was great. Great coffee shop literally next door.

Service was excellent. The lovely ladies at reception truly went above and beyond, helping me with my traditional bow tie before the wedding!

When we return to Byron, we will definitely be staying here again.

Cons:

We booked this hotel partially for their spa facilities. Before the stay I received a message about their spa services. I asked to book a massage for my wife and then I got a message back saying they were fully booked. I appreciate it was probably an automated message but it should be disabled if there is no availability. Fortunately, there were plenty of other good options in Byron.

A lovely spot in Byron Bay
Pros:

Loved our stay at The Bower. It was incredibly clean, the magnesium pool was excellent, the staff were friendly, the bed massive/comfy, and we found as two people who love to walk that it was in a nice location. The General Store next door has excellent food, and the township only a 15 minute walk away, while the beach might be more 20 minutes walk. Also great to have a parking spot available! As an FYI, this room is further away from road than the rooms with balconies, so traffic noise was less for us, than those at the front of the motel (and not an issue).

Cons:

Room was a bit on the smaller side, so quite cramped with my husband and I's bags, but the use of the downstairs facility for reading etc was a nice addition to escape if we didn't want to be in our room. It would be great to have access to this outside of the 9-5 hours.

Decor style and the pool were good. Car parking convenient.

Cons:

Walls are thin, can hear the neighbouring room conversations and shower/taps, although closing the bathroom door reduces this.
The noise from road traffic is constant due to proximity of the room to the road. It reduces in the evenings with lesser traffic.
