What a lovely hotel! The rooms were perfect and of very high quality. My husband and I travelled with our son, partner and our 2 year old grandson. The rooms were perfectly placed next door to each other on the 2nd floor, ideal for a restless toddler who wanted to come and play in nanny and grandads room for a little bit!! ( Thanks for that, haha, just kidding!🤣)
We found the rooms very spacious and comfortable, high quality furnishings and very comfy beds.
Breakfast was very good and we also ate at the restaurant in the evening. Great food and reasonably priced.
The amber ale was amazing my hubby I can report!!
Plenty of parking available and we left the cars on the car park before check in and after check in on both days, no problem.
Bear in mind it is not on the actual seafront but the benefits of this outweighed struggling for parking on the front. No problems with the 10 minute walk to the promenade. Its a safe route to walk.
Good location with parking close to retail parks and town centre. Spacious accommodation with large comfortable bed and bathroom with walk in shower. A very good breakfast served by friendly, polite and efficient staff. No hesitation in recommending and will stay again.

Leaving for home
Rooms are above the pub and are a decent size, bathroom was very large. Evening meal and breakfast was very good
Room was very hot and most windows are painted shut with secondary glazing. Fortunately, managed to open one and get some air
location was ideal, Staff where OK
Room had only one window that opened and the cables on the window where broken so that the window would not stay open, this had previously been reported according to the clearing staff but had not been fixed.
We had to wedge the window open with various items over the 4 day stay to let some of the heat out of the room as we where in the middle of a heatwave. It was impossible to stay in the room during the day and difficult to sleep at night.. The choice of food on offer for breakfast was very poor, probably the worst i have experienced.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely great. The staff, the food, and the room, bed was comfortable which is a big tick in the box when we stay anywhere. Would definitely recommend .
Most things went well, nice breakfast, we had a couple of evening meals which were very good.
The bed was a little hard for our liking.
