Rooms are above the pub and are a decent size, bathroom was very large. Evening meal and breakfast was very good
Room was very hot and most windows are painted shut with secondary glazing. Fortunately, managed to open one and get some air
location was ideal, Staff where OK
Room had only one window that opened and the cables on the window where broken so that the window would not stay open, this had previously been reported according to the clearing staff but had not been fixed.
We had to wedge the window open with various items over the 4 day stay to let some of the heat out of the room as we where in the middle of a heatwave. It was impossible to stay in the room during the day and difficult to sleep at night.. The choice of food on offer for breakfast was very poor, probably the worst i have experienced.

Everything was good and on time.
Everything about this hotel was absolutely great. The staff, the food, and the room, bed was comfortable which is a big tick in the box when we stay anywhere. Would definitely recommend .

The location was excellent and the car parking facilities very good. The restaurant food was very good. The staff as always were friendly and professional.
I’m a disabled person who has oxygen. The room was quite small and there was no walk in shower as last time we came. The room was looking tired and could do with a refurb. There are no lifts which makes things more difficult. There were some items on the menu which were unavailable. The breakfast could be improved it wasn’t very warm and not a lot on the plate.
