Very comfortable.
Some confusion about what was included in the pre-paid breakfast.
Very nice and helpful staff
Poor quality room
Prima kamer, mooi oud hotel. Fietsen mochten achter slot en grendel. Vriendelijk personeel. Goed bed, nette badkamer. Goed ontbijt.
Eigenlijk niks.
We arrived very late and the night porter was brilliant. He made is feel welcome and nothing was too much bother. Also nice size room with very comfy beds
Nothing
Convenient for what I required. Parking was available and staff attentive.

Hotel is tired, the rooms are dated dusty and in need of updating. It does not give a 4 star feel as reviews would suggest. Bathrooms are in need of renovations the bath has black rotting wood trim. Rooms are very hot no air, pillows are flat and worn out. Need to leave window open to get zero breeze and the windowsills are disgustingly dirty never been wiped out and black. Dusty and worn out stained carpets. Paint is missing in areas in bathroom. Definitely not a four star rating. Be weary
We stayed at this hotel for one night after a wedding nearby at Stowe House. We were quite looking forward to it and opted for this hotel over the other options in Buckingham as it had more of a boutique feeling to it and looked nice in the pictures. We splashed out on a suite as well which was not cheap by any means (close to a £1000 - appreciate these rooms can be a lot cheaper at other times of the year and outside of weekends). For that amount of money you do expect something spectacular and the hotel underwhelmed on almost every dimension.
The only positive is the location. It really is in central Buckingham and very easy if you want to explore the town, go to a pub, etc. (although Buckingham is not big - the Premier Inn down the road is a <5min drive)
The room was incredibly underwhelming. The suite is set up in a duplex style with a sofa / seating area downstairs and bed and bathroom upstairs. The bed is big and reasonably comfy but you don't get a lot of pillows and our bed had no duvet (maybe because it is summer). The bathroom is tiny (more like what you find in a student flat) and has not had any major maintenance or upgrade done in years. The sink and bathtub/shower look like they are 20+ years old. The walls between the rooms are also extremely thin which means you can hear everything that is being said (or done...) next door. I appreciate it is an old property, but that is no excuse not do better sound proofing. TV and other amenities were fine but felt old.
Breakfast in the morning was a bit of a mixed bag. They have a restaurant that also serves as place to have breakfast. A la carte is ok but not mindblowing - I ordered avocado on toast & poached egg which was well cooked, my wife had a fried egg and bacon on toast which was very economy-style (one slice of toast, one bacon rasher...); don't go for the just the buffet option or you will be sorely disappointed. Maybe we were just late and it had already been raided by other guests, but cereal choice was down to rice crispies, most of the fruit had disappeared, there were some yoghurts left, a token pastry and that was pretty much it. There is one coffee machine.
While I will not be a regular visitor to Buckingham, I can definitely say I will never ever come back to this place again, especially not at the prices they charge. Anybody visiting Buckingham, the Premier Inn is a 20min walk from the centre and costs a fraction of the price and I doubt you'd notice any difference in room quality
Beautiful room, huge bed!!
Breakfast finishes at 09:15 on weekdays, which is basically yesterday for late risers like me, especially after you've been to a wedding.
Location was brilliant
Very cosy and peaceful
Used a deal for two nights B&B and admission to Bletchley Park. A very good size room (106) with a large bathroom and as our visit was during a heatwave it was nice to have a fan in the room that was quiet enough to leave on all night. Sadly some others staying weren't so quiet. At least two other rooms were occupied by those that can't close a room door without slamming it. looking round the breakfast room the following morning the people were at a guess in their late 50's to mid 70's so they should have more consideration for others.
All the staff were polite, helpful & friendly, and the food was really good, that made up for the noisy lot.
We parked in adjacent car park owned by the hotel which has a short cut to the building. All I had to do was enter the reg on a tablet in reception.
Overall it was good value for the money.
Location. Very large room with good amenities.
Nothing.
The hotel was very conveniently located and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and understanding of our needs. They absolutely made our stay.
The decor is a wee bit dated.
Good central location.
Quite dated bedrooms. Only has baths, no walk in showers.
No Aircon.
Very nicely situated with friendly staff. Good breakfast, and room, whilst a bit dated, is very clean. The attached Dukes Steakhouse is extremely good, both in terms of food and drinks. For a short stay, I can easily recommend.
