Pros:

Amazing location, close to transit, restaurants, and attractions! Truly in the centre of everything. Also appreciated the service.

Cons:

The room was smaller than expected, but we did get a smaller room to save money. All the pros & exceptional service more than made up for it.

Pros:

Muy buena ubicación, los recepcionistas fueron muy atentos y amables. La habitación daba a la calle Gran Vía que tiene mucho tránsito y prácticamente no se oían los ruidos exteriores.

This place well deserves its high average number of stars.
Pros:

The rooms (504 and 102; two stays) were small but entirely sufficient unless possibly you wanted to spend your entire vacation in there. All modern and well laid out, the aircon was excellent, the showers good, the beds comfortable, and due to double-glazing the rooms quiet. My mother would have said the rooms were very clean, and I can’t say better than that.

The front desk were friendly, helpful and had good language skills. While of course it depends on how full they are, when we arrived early they were able to let us have the room which after a long flight was very much appreciated.

There are numerous ‘supermercados’ nearby, one quite large (out the door and turn right, about halfway up the hill) with marked prices. Further up the hill and turn right there is the SpeedQueen laundromat, with large machines and quite easy to use. The coffee shop across the road has excellent coffee and pastries, though as below the hotel coffee is free and more than acceptable. Out the door and to the right we found the bar ‘Reversible’ to be a good venue for us.

The breakfast was very good, varied in what was available and everything was of a high quality. There was cereal, fruit, cold cuts, bacon, sausages and eggs, croissants and so on. There is a good quality easy to use coffee machine, which is also free from midday to late at night.

Cons:

A mini-fridge would be nice, but this is not necessarily common in Barcelona and with limited space and noise often a two-edged sword.

Quiet rooms, very clean & modern building, great value for money
Pros:

Very quiet inside although it’s on a lively corner. Within walking distance of everything you might need. Bus stop very close to the entrance of the hotel. Clean rooms with super friendly staff.
