Location was across the street from the main building. Stayed in a long building that was one level. Old pull up motel style. The outside was scattered with cigarette butts and appeared dirty, as people milled around outside. The room itself was nice.
Beautification needed on the grounds and buildings. Inside was so much better.
There was NOTHING to like
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. It was old, dirty, ugly, didn’t have basic things like a fridge or microwave. I was awake the whole night. We couldn’t sleep on the sheets because they were so dirty and looked so old. The chairs had faded from wine to white, we had to put a towel on the chair to sit in because we were scared there could be bugs. It would have honestly been better to sleep in the car than stay at Mount Peyton. DO NOT BOOK this hotel if you care for basic decency and comfort, you will not get it. The staff couldn’t even help microwave some food. We had to go food hunting at past 10, honestly it was such a horrible and traumatic experience, like a horror movie setting. For about $248 a night, not even a bottle of water. Completely avoid this place for your own good .
The room was clean and bathroom were clean.
The furniture in the room is little outdated. Before entering the room, there was garbage, empty cans and cigarette buts very visible. The out side chairs were dirty. Maintenance was not a priority to the hotel. The road in has lots of pot holes on the observed. The cabins were not attractive driving in. For the cost to stay one night was not appropriate.
Staff, cleanliness, location
The tv keep losing sound and remote didn't work very good1
Nice roomie beds. Good size room is acess right off of the trans canada highway. Very accommodating. Very nice people. We had a small issue and it was rectified immediately.
Great service.
Will definitely go back
That they refunded me in full, no questions asked
It might be a great stopover for hunters…but that’s about it. The rooms were dank, dark and smelly.
Easy check-in. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Comfortable bed.
Breakfast wasn’t included and the restaurant was pricier than we wanted for getting on the road quickly.
We loved the town, Grand Falls Windsor. It was beautiful and the amenities and people were amazing
There were 2 arondack chairs outside to sit and enjoy the lawn and trees. The staff responded to our requests for more towels, coffee, and a do not disturb sign.
The room we stayed in, which was supposed to be a cottage, was a ridiculous price for what we got. There were 2 beds, comfortable enough, with bedding that was yellowed...? Don't know how to describe it but it seemed to be clean. The curtains were stained with, I think coffee, patched holes in the walls with no pictures. Not that that would have made a difference. The step to get outside was quite high and you had to be careful. The door was stuck and to open or close you had to push very hard, slam it. No fridge, no microwave, just coffee. Hard to find channels on the TV and no Raku or Netflix. Thankfully we had lots to do and look at in the town. The front desk was in the hotel across the highway. 5 left turns or right depending on whether you were coming or going.
All the surrounding outside areas were dirty. No access to food on Sunday or Monday.Beds were very uncomfortable!
There is no breakfast that we found.
Cleaniness a nd upkeep of the property.
In Grand Falls, this is the only game in town for a regular hotel that is business friendly. The rooms are well worn and the bathrooms have the tiniest toilets I have ever seen. The rooms also vary quite a bit judging from comments by my coworkers.
The toilets are child sized. The showers are okay clean, but not really sparkling or anything. There is nothing around the hotel and it is not a walkable area, so you have to have a car.
The rooms really need to be renovated. The linen and pillows are very old and the pillows are bumpy
Friendly staff
No refrigerator in the room we stayed
It was easy to check in and out
The extra pillows were not cleaned and had hair on them
