Pros:

The hotel itself is decent. Good location in the city

Cons:

Hotel had planned maintenance which causes electricity to cut from 11 pm to 3 am. This was only communicated to me after check in and payment were completed. This is despite the hotel messaging me earlier in the day to check time of arrival where they could've easily mentioned the maintenance. Super unprofessional in communicating this in time. Had I known, I would have cancelled my booking and moved elsewhere but I was stuck with my choice due to the lack of transparency

A great choice
Pros:

I chose that hotel in the last minute and I was afraid it won't be good but I was really surprised. The hotel is really nice. A very good value for money. The staff were really nice. The pool was great and the location was very convenient. I will definitely stay there again if I ever visited Nuwara Eliya again.

Très décevant !!!!
Pros:

La qualité du petit déjeuner ( mais cher par rapport au tarif au Sri-Lanka)

Cons:

Pas de serviettes , ni de peignoirs dans notre chambre
L'accueil froid à notre arrivée
Pour cette gamme d'hôtel, la chambre n'était pas bien propre ( des cheveux dans la douche, des traces sur les toilettes , drap déchiré , traces de verre sur la table.... )
Au petit déjeuner : on nous presse pour payer et insistant sur l'heure de fin du petit déjeuner.
Très décevant, par rapport au tarif et à la gamme de cet hôtel .
La piscine qui est très petite et pas agréable ( les photos de l'annonce sont trompeuses)

Passable stay for a night.
Pros:

Great staff and hospitality training from them.

Cons:

5 star rated hotel however room was not up to the standard. Breakfast spread could’ve been a lot better for a 5 star hotel. Leaks in toilets and yellow water coming out of tap when it is hot water.

Great Stay
Pros:

Our concierge, Dinithi, greeted us warmly, and check-in was smooth. We were upgraded to an apartment, which was plenty of space for the two of us. The beds were very comfortable, and breakfast offered both Western and Sri Lankan options. There was a small supermarket and an ATM nearby, which was very convenient.

A wonderful and memorable family stay with excellent hospitality and outstanding service.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Araliya Green Hills Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully located. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and attentive to our needs. A special thank you to Sheron, Sandaliyal, and Vishwa for their kindness, excellent service, and the lovely way they treated me and my children. Their hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Nothing significant. We were very happy with our stay and the service provided.

Musty carpet, the light system in the room was awkward as you had switch all lights on and off with keyboard that didn’t work reliably very odd

Really great experience
Pros:

The central location of the hotel is just perfect. The room was quite spacious (thanks for the upgrade). The breakfast spread is quite nice including the Sri Lankan items and Indian items.
The in room dining and adjoining food court don't have many vegetarian options which is disappointing. This should be improved.
Loved almost everything else

Cons:

IRD menu and food court menu options for vegetarians is very minimal.

Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Yogesh, Dinithi, Sandaehaya, Kijay und Philip – ihr wart alle sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und habt unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great value for money, very helpful staff
Pros:

The staff are super friendly and helpful, they are eager for guests to have a great stay and nothing is too much trouble.
Really good value for money. The buffet was lovely, the breakfast was v good.
We didn’t eat in the food court but that looked good too.
A short walk to town or the lake so a great location.

Cons:

The hotel is dated and very much of its era. The pool area could be lovely with a few tweaks. The sauna and steam room are on a pay per use but they are off when you arrive and will take ages to get to any kind of useful temperature especially the sauna.

Size of rooms unbelievable and free standing bath.
Helpful staff

Cons:

Pool was over run but children and very noisy. Tried to swim twice but due to noise and number of children in pool at the time we chose not to as it was not very inviting

Pros:

One of the highlights of our stay was being upgraded to a better room than the one we originally booked, which was a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained.
The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the desserts were especially delicious. The F&B service was outstanding, with the staff always attentive and friendly.
A special thank you to Shen, who was incredibly kind, friendly, active, and welcoming. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. We would also like to thank Randika, Gimhani, Vijitha, and Kavindu for their helpfulness and excellent service.
The staff truly made our stay memorable with their hospitality and care. Thank you to the entire team for a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.
