We love staying here and will return perhaps we shall try one of the suites.
Pros:

Loved the history and the grandeur of the building was as remembered, a splendour to be in. It really is a gorgeous building.
The staff are attentive, hard working and ever so responsive to any queries or needs.

Cons:

It is an old property and I presume needs constant attention and up keep and you can see the areas that need work.
Painting the red varnish and paint of the roof tops in view when looking out over towards the sea, inside the room there are signs of wear and tear and damp, the main stairway (above floor 5 the walls and areas that need attention).

Great location great Hotel inexpensive by English standards, especially for a five star
Pros:

We have a club room with Butler access and everybody in the hotel was extremely courteous and almost every aspect was perfect
