Brilliant
Pros:

Fairburn was such a lovely place to stay .The staff were amazing ,and as it was such lovely weather we enjoyed the beer garden .Please eat there as the food is a good price and absolutely delicious

The hotel was nice and staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good.. My parents had the family room which was perfect for them and it seemed to be alot nicer than ours. On the face of it our room which was I think was either 8 or 9 was lovely.

Cons:

The bathroom carpentry left alot to be desired, I'll fitting cupboards and over shooting taps. The boxing in around the shower is terrible and may leak eventually which may need to be looked at. The room was very clean and everything we needed for our one night stay

Really good stay.
Pros:

All the food was excellent. Staff all really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Road noise too loud, but ok if you kept the window closed.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The smell was offensive and spoiled our stay.

The hotel stairs and upstairs hallway stank and the smell seeped into the room. Get a new carpet and some fresh air

Pros:

Generally a nice, clean, well-presented hotel. Staff were pleasant & professional and the food was decent. The room I had was spacious enough and the decor looked fresh throughout the hotel. Rooms had a few complimentary items that you don't always get in hotels of this type, so that was appreciated.

Cons:

Located near to a main road, so there is constant road noise (earplugs were provided). I had an issue with my shower- this was fixed before my second night, but did rather spoil my first morning! Something to be aware of for those with mobility issues perhaps is an awkward spiral staircase up to the rooms. Not sure if there are any ground floor options.
