We arrived, via a delayed train, well after our predicted time. The check-in procedure is a via a digital lock box which, when opened, gives you the room and front door access. All the instructions were sent well in advance and worked as expected. The room was clean, functional and up to expectations. Breakfast was a selection of breads, cheeses & cold cuts and was more than ample. An offer of cooked eggs was made which we declined as we had enough to keep us going. Staff were welcoming & attentive and made our stay very positive.
We knew that the Old Town location would mean a building of some age, which it was, to our delight. What we had not planned for was the lack of a lift. !! But that was our mistake....we forgot how old we are :-)... This is not a complaint, just be aware that stairs will be involved so be prepared. It's a great place to stay.
The host Jon was wonderful and assisted us with everything we needed.
Our room was lovely with views out over the town. The breakfast was excellent. It is our favorite stay so far on this trip.
Good hotel, room quite small but clean and all facilities present.
Good for a transit stay and nice location!
The lack of a bar/mini bar to be able to drink or eat something in the room. (eg big fridge in the hall or something)
Unfortunately we didn’t have time for breakfast as we had to leave at 7.00 to catch a train.
Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft empfehlenswert, das Personal ist freundlich, der Bahnhof zu Fuss in 10 Minuten gut erreichbar.
Sind sie eine Churer- oder Bündner-Spezialität, die hotelinternen Bars, die als Fumoir dienen? Leider werden sie nicht mit Unterdruck betrieben, so dass immer wieder Rauch nach aussen ins Treppenhaus gelangt, was einen belästigen kann oder zumindest negativ auffällt.

The location in the old part of town, staying in a beautiful historical building , proximity to the train station and shops & Museums- wonderful!
The dining room is exquisite. It was booked out so I'd recommend making a reservation
We did enjoy an excellent beautifully prepared breakfast Buffet.
Really a treat to stay in such a place if you appreciate historical buildings
The two rooms I booked were comfortable & adequate & quiet. We were very pleased but don't expect luxury
What truly makes a hotel special is its people, and the staff here are absolutely wonderful! You can really feel the warm, family atmosphere and genuine care for every guest.
I even had a red carpet welcome ;) literally!
The hotel itself is full of charm, with beautiful antique carved wooden furniture and a lovely historic atmosphere. And despite the age of the building and its furniture, the restroom is definitely in the 21st century – especially the high-tech automatic toilet! 😄
A wonderful place with a lot of character and even more heart.
The only thing I didn’t like was my own mistake – I underestimated how much the city had to offer and booked far too short a stay.

De ligging in de binnenstad is zeer gunstig Het is een oud historisch gebouw waar wijn verhandeld werd .
Er is geen lift maar het personeel is erg behulpzaam.
Very friendly stuff, they allowed my early check in which was appreciated as I was almost awake for 24 hours by then. Nice room on the top floor, very good location in old town. Breakfast was ok but the experience itself is a bit confusing as they serve you cheese and cold cuts after you sit down rather than as part of the small buffet.
