BURÇ HOTEL

Solo travellers, please be very careful.

I booked this hotel because it was close to the airport, but my experience the next morning was extremely concerning. A woman at the café repeatedly insisted on arranging a taxi for me. When the taxi arrived, I saw the driver discreetly hand money to her, so I refused to travel with him. Despite refusing the taxi, I was pressured to pay 700 TL, eventually agreeing to 400 TL. The driver then brought a card machine, but it supposedly did not work, and I was told they were no longer allowed to charge customers that way. A member of reception then spoke to me rudely and told me to leave. As a solo traveller I didn't feel safe please arrange your own taxi

Etwas störend ist die Lage in der Nähe des Flughafens, da die startenden Flugzeuge teilweise direkt über das Hotel fliegen und dadurch Fluglärm entsteht. Auch die Straße in unmittelbarer Nähe ist recht stark befahren, sodass es zeitweise ziemlich laut sein kann.

Beim Thema Sauberkeit gibt es aus unserer Sicht noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Hier könnte das Hotel sich noch etwas weiterentwickeln.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and this time we saw a decline in the cleanliness with lots of tired walls, bedding and decoration that all needs updating.

Nothing, it was very basic but so was the price

Planes are loud but any place in the area can be affected as they change their routes a bit, there can be few at once but mostly one-two random flights and then period of calm

If you are without car there’s only one cafe nearby (I got help with Turkish menu), taxis are expensive - 900 lira to sarigerme

La camera e il bagno non erano puliti.
Le pareti della camera non vengono verniciate da tanto tempo.
La tavoletta del wc era divelta e appoggiata sul sanitario.
Il bagno in generale è malridotto.
Le foto della camera non corrispondono alla realtà.
Dai commenti degli altri ospiti me lo aspettavo e quindi ero preparato.

the room was very dirty and there were insects everywhere and bed bugs. the toilet was very dirty and smells bad. the bed sheets were very dirty. i could not sleep .
