🙂: -Very good location to explore the history of the city of Nakhon Ratchasima/Khorat. Very close distance (2~3 minutes walk) to the statue of YaMo (woman who defended the city from Lao invasion), the city gates, the pond, the park etc.
- Quite affordable price with good location and a relatively clean room.
- A street with delicious street food is only around 2~3 minutes walk away.
- Nice view of the city from the common space at the upper floor.
🙁: -The window itself in my room didn't have a nice view (view towards the wall of the neighbouring building).
- Though relatively clean, it is an old hotel.
- The water heater in the bathroom is hidden behind the shower curtain, a bit tricky to find it.
- The surrounding area has some street dogs and cats barking and meawing at night and early morning.
- The door is very difficult to lock and close. Once you lock, you have to slam the door in order to close it, which makes a huge noise.
The staff had relatively good English and were kind and helpful. There is also a restaurant at the ground floor and they serve very good and cheap food. There is a tuk-tuk waiting at the hotel basically all the time, which can take you to anywhere for a reasonable price. The railway station is about 2 km away and so is the coach station.
It was a kind of soulless place, and the view wasn't exactly great, but if you just want to sleep there and use it as your "base" it is perfect for that. There are not many places to eat around there and the ground floor restaurant closes at 5 pm.

It is an older Thai Style hotel and my room was remolded and will stay there everytime i need a room in Nakon Rachasima. The breakfast menu was simple and cheap. I have stayed here many years ago and was happy to return.
