Just awful. This is not a 4 star. Run down 2 star. Hard to believe this is open in 2026.
Pros:

Eggs Benedict was not good. Coffee ok. Full Irish was a tiny breakfast.
We paid €135 euro for B&B, booked fives days before arrival. We prepaid, tired it was 7.30pm when I realised there was not hot water. No response from reception at this time. So happy that it was just one night pre booked. We should have left this hotel at 7.30pm.

Cons:

The hotel was wrong. When I woke up that morning, It felt like an 80’s revival of mismatched furniture & no hot running water again. There was no hot water when we got there. There was not hot water at any time. Staff said they would get a plumber to sort out their hot water issue only in the morning as I was told that it had been fixed (an water heater put on) This had been ongoing for a long time as there was a notice picture attached run hot water in the bath to get hot water! Truth was not told about the pluming here. Owners of this small hotel need a tourism review from a tourism board & a star rating review, on their so called 4 star.
I did feel sorry for employees working here having to lie about this hotels hot water supply. Just not acceptable in 2026. Northern Ireland Tourist board, what is going on here.

The Befray Country Inn.
Pros:

Spacious room, good breakfast & service

Cons:

Issues with hot water supply over a period of 48 hours from arrival which rather spoiled the stay until it was resolved.

Un’esperienza allucinante
Cons:

Terribile. Mille cose. Compreso un montacarichi spacciato per ascensore. Albergo vecchio decrepito spacciato per un 4 stelle. Forse negli anni 60, ma neanche allora.

Sauber, viele Parkplätze.
Das Hotel liegt außerhalb einer Stadt, das heißt nur mit dem Auto erreichbar. Im Hotel gibt es ein Restaurant mit mehreren vegetarischen Speisen, das ist mir positiv aufgefallen

Pros:

Very accommodating. We were going to a wedding and asked for check in a bit earlier. The receptionist spoke with housekeeping and we got our room early.

Ett charmigt boende med bra service.
Pros:

Bra läge 10 minuter med bil från Londonderry.
Bra restaurang.
Rent och fräsch, kändes lite exklusivt.
Trevligt med livemusik.

Cons:

Sängen var i mjukaste laget.
Knarrigt golv.
Det tog cirka tio minuter innan varmvattnet kom.
Superliten TV-skärm i rummet.

Stayed four nights really enjoyed the feel of the inn and the staff were so nice especially Hugh on reception
