We found our ski vacation location. I have already told the family we will return every year !

Best Christmas 2025 at Thaiwoo Ski Resort, Element Chongli
Pros:

I've read bad reviews about Element Chongli Hotel by Marriot Bonvoy but experiencing it myself says otherwise.
Directions to get to Element Chongli: From Taizicheng Train Station, once exit out, turn right and all the way to the end is where the Free Shuttle Bus Services are. Make sure to double check which bus goes to Thaiwoo and which stop is your hotel at to alight. Element Chongli is at the 2nd stop.There is a cafe cum convenience shop at the end where you can buy your snacks or drinks before you head up to Thaiwoo. It is also a good place to warm up first before heading out again. Toilet is just next door. Do note: the female toilet is all squatting kind.
First: The Reception Staff are welcoming, polite and courteous. Though my spoken chinese cannot make it, they could communicate with me in English, enough for me to understand clearly and precise.
Secondly: The Rooms are good, comfortable and cozy. I had booked the Queen Bedroom with 2x Queen size beds which is most suitable for my 9 pax family. Each room could fit 3-4 pax nicely. There is a small Living Room with a big sofa & big TV, a study table and chair & counter chairs at the kitchen table; the Kitchen had a huge fridge, cooking hob & hood, kettle, cups, coffee & tea sachets, bottled water. There are no cooking pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils but you can request them upon check-in and it was delivered to the room within 20-30mins upon settling down in our rooms.
Thirdly: The Bathroom is huge too with Conditioning Shampoo, Body Wash, body lotion, however, there is no Handwash soap but you can request for bars of soap from the Reception Desk. There is also no dish soap or dish sponge so it is best to bring your own. Toothbrush & Toothpaste can be requested, though we didn't need any. There is an Iron and Ironing Board for your usage in the rooms, a Luggage rack, Bedroom slippers, 2x Bathrobes and 12x clothes hangers which was good for hanging out your washed laundry.

Excellent room and service!
Pros:

Nice, big and comfy room! Receptionist Nicole were super helpful. Everytime I made a request , she actually she even remembers my room number! Breakfast was great too! There were nice Korean and Japanese restaurants just outside the hotel. And it’s conveniently near to ThaiWoo Ski Resort!

We initially planned a 5 day stay skiing but we decided that 3 days was enough.
Pros:

Good ski in and ski out location. Easy access to taxi and fast train services.

Cons:

Not much to do at night around the property, make sure you wither bring your own entertainment (especially if you are a foreigner or used to apres sk). We found great spot for dinner above the brew bar which is very reasonably priced. Staff always happy to assist you and breakfast is Asian culture focused.

The location is perfect, just 5mins walk to the ski area. The staff are very helpful. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast was substantial but same everyday. But for a 4 night stay it was fine!
