Baan Jai Dee Beach Front Hotel

Jelikož do Thajska jezdím už roky tak opravdu mohu srovnávat a v návaznosti na zakoupení tohoto ,,nejlepšího pokoje‘‘ a služeb vs realita mi připadá, že předchozí recenze musel psát někdo, kdo byl buď v jiném hotelu jako my, nebo byl nějak kompenzován.. Ubytování jsem objednával dost z předstihem a vše bylo popsáno jako HOTEL s barem u bazénu a v našem případě pokojem u moře (takto je/bylo vše nafoceno). Realita? Po příjezdu zjistíte, že v celém komplexu probíhá rozsáhlá rekonstrukce, bar je zavřený a pokud Vás napadne jít na danou pláž u hotelu, tak tu zase pro změnu nikdo moc neuklízí, takže taky nic.. Rekonstrukce probíhá od cca 9 rána do večera a to jak u bazénu, tak kolem hotelu včetně bočních schodů, po kterých jdete k moři. Jelikož toto místo bylo naši 3 zastávkou naši dovolené, chtěli jsme si v klidu těch posledních pár dnů zrelaxovat u bazénu/moře v rámci hotelu. Bohužel jediná možnost, jak neslyšet hluk rekonstrukce jsou sluchátka s potlačením šumu, nebo déšť kdy na chvíli nikdo nedělá. Cítíme se podvedeni a nebyli jsme sami, ale daná paní manažerka, se s nikým o nějaké kompenzaci nehodlala ani bavit, někteří i tak raději odjeli (vím o 2 lidech, kteří jim peníze nechali a raději se jeli ubytovat někde jinde). Bohužel v našem případě se jednalo o 8 dnů, kde cena byla dost vysoká a tak jsme to museli nějak přežít.
Kromě výše popsaných ,,zážitků‘‘ Vám tento hotel ještě nabízí – Řemeslníky, kteří v době své pauzy využívají Váš stůl a lehátko co máte na terase, ale není čeho se bát, pokud jim řeknete, tak Vás pustí i sednout.

היה רועש והרבה בנייה הרבה פעמים לא היה הכי נעים להיות באיזור הבריכה, כמובן בעיה זמנית לגמרי.

We were extremely disappointed with this stay. Only after booking with no cancellation option did the property advise there was construction “next door”. However, this is not true. The actual hotel is still under construction & we arrived to the sound of jack hammering & angle grinding. It’s all around the pool & recreation area and we even woke up to it on the Sunday morning!

The reviews here appear to be for a former hotel. This lack of transparency feels dishonest. When we raised the issue, staff admitted that the construction has been going on for quite some time already and will likely continue for the foreseeable future.

Another major problem was the misleading photos. The hotel advertised rooms with sea views, but our actual view was of a roof and a tree. Only by walking to the side of the room could we catch a glimpse of the ocean, which is far from what was promised.
Also the patio is shared with all the rooms on that floor with a short nib wall & a small pot plant to divide.

We were highly disappointed as we were expecting a few relaxing days at the resort but had to arrange a day trip off the island as we couldn’t relax with construction workers & noise all around.
The price charged is not for a hotel still under construction & to not be clearly notified of this and given the opportunity to change is dishonest & unfair.

Another thing to consider is that this is not really a swimming beach - it only gets about knee deep.
Don’t stay here…we checked and visited - there are far nicer hotels for similar prices down the road that have no construction.
