This is, without a doubt, my favorite hotel in Washington. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, tranquility, and an exceptional location. Every member of the staff is warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making each stay a wonderful experience.
This was my fifth stay at this hotel, and I keep coming back because it consistently exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Washington, and I am already looking forward to my next stay.
The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. I would love to see a wider variety of options, especially when it comes to egg dishes. A more diverse breakfast selection would make the overall experience even better.

The location is perfect for everyone, families, seniors, young couples.... There are plenty restaurants to dine in or grab a to go and eat around the Wharf. We mostly used buses to go around. Don't miss Wharf events.
The breakfast was good and included but it's pretty much the same thing everyday. I wish they provided more variety. Still was a great deal.

Such a great hotel! Great friendly and helpful staff. We got a room upgrade after asking and it was a beautiful bay view. The check in process was simple and easy. The valet parking is pretty pricey but we just parked at a public parking garage and took the Lime scooters over which was a fun way to travel! The outside area was beautiful in the summer as well!
Right on the Wharf and close to DC monuments
People screaming at midnight until 2am with cops coming and ambulances. Way too loud and not safe after dark.
Hyatt House Hotel itself was just fine. Nothing fancy, but big clean rooms. The pool on the roof is small, but clean and perfect for a cool off dip.
Now, just be warned it is LOUD! There are 4 bars located directly below the hotel. People scream and yell throughout the night and if you have a room over the music venue bar below…. I would not recommend for a family. Unfortunately all the connecting suites are located on this side of the hotel. The music was so loud even with earplugs, white noise and 5 floors up. The front desk didn’t seem to have any idea of when the music would stop, but it lasted until about 10:45pm. The next night the Irish bar below the hotel hosted a World Cup watch party and again obnoxiously loud until about midnight. This is not the hotels fault, but just be warned it is a VERY loud area!!!!!!!
The staff everywhere was very helpful
The room was so small and cramped for a suite. We had a river view but the couch , bed and the desk all were positioned away from the view due to the small space.
We loved the view of our room, the bathroom and the king bed. Also loved the security of the building.
I know it's a pull out couch but the mattress was horrible and there were sharp edges on the frame. We had to cover those so my son wouldn't hurt himself on them.
