الفندق في مكان مرتفع ويصعب عليك المشي إلى السنتر
نعم هناك حافلة تنقلك كل ساعه إلى السنتر .. قالوا لي انه لابد ان تحجز للذهاب إلى هناك وبالفعل في كل مرة احجز ولكننى واجهت مشكلة العودة حيث اتضح انه ايضاً لابد ان احجز .. كيف افعل ذلك وأنا لا اعلم متى أعود .. لقد بقيت أنا وعائلتي في حرج اكثر من مرة وكنا نعود بالتاكسي وهذا مكلف وقد شرحت لهم ولم يتجاوبوا مع مشكلتي ،مما جعلنى اشعر أنهم لايهتمون بالضيف .
وقد طلبت منهم مقابله المسول أو لمن أشكو اليه ولم يتجاوبوا
-طلبت منهم اضافة الإفطار في حجزي وقد تفاجأت بسعر الإفطار عالي جدا .
جربت المطاعم الخاصة بهم (بيتزا) لم تعجبني

Excellent staff, great breakfast and a relaxing base for exploring Sapa.
Pros:

We had a very enjoyable stay here and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Sapa.

The hotel is located just outside Sapa town and offers a complimentary shuttle service into town several times a day, which was extremely convenient. Just be sure to book your place in advance.

One of the highlights was the pool area, which was a lovely place to relax. We arrived very early on the overnight bus from Hanoi and, although our room wasn't ready until the 2pm check-in time, it was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge after the journey.

The breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of options to choose from, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, making for a great night's sleep. We only stayed for one night before moving on to a hotel in the mountains, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Very little to fault. If I had to mention one thing, the dinner menu wasn't quite to our taste as we found it a little more westernised than expected. That said, this is very much a personal preference rather than a criticism of the quality.

Beautiful Infrastructure with impressive views.
Pros:

The location is amazing. The infrastructure of this hotel has been made in a completely dreamy way, absolutely stunning with green, lush gardens and an amazing view of the mountains. The pool is indoor but also offers really beautiful views.

Cons:

I am a bit disappointed to be having to write this, when i entered i was sure this would be my best stay in Vietnam. With such an incredible infrastructure, the hospitality is to be improved. A few things happened that doesn’t suit a 5star hotel.
1. The staff has very basic English knowledge. One night we decided to dine in the main restaurant. There was only 1 other family with us. They told us 25-30mins, but in between came to us again to modify our command because either tofu was over or avocado smoothie or they weren’t sure whether it was penne or spaghetti. My dish came last and they brought me noodle soup instead of wok fried noodles (i pointed with my finger on the menu)
2. My husband and i had complimentary herbal baths during our stay (6 times in total) but couldnt go together because of kids. The last day i decided to try it out with my sister (staying in another room). They had already prepared everything in the spa when we got a call to say that this is not possible and it HAD to be my husband. So i cancelled the whole because it was no fun alone.
3. I forgot my room slippers either in the sauna or pool. After checking out, we got into our van, someone running from the reception to ask where the slippers are. I got down, waiting for her to call at the wellness centre to check. Finally it was taking too long, I offered to pay, 40.000 vnd which is nothing but seemed very petty for a 5star where other 3-4stars in Vietnam give these as complimentary.
4. The manager was extremely friendly from the first day, my friends also joked that she talked to me like a long lost friend. But on our last day, she first walked straight past us and second time said a mere good morning. This wasnt nice.

Pros:

We loved the pool. Rooms and bathrooms were nice. Hotel grounds have a luxurious feel. I would book again! Breakfast buffet was huge and had a great variety of things to choose from.

Cons:

The staff seemed a bit annoyed, when we asked about something twice (like directions to get somewhere on the property).

It rained a few times, which meant that we had to through the rain to get to breakfast or our rooms, as the rooms and the breakfast restaurant are in separate buildings. You had to sign off for umbrellas at reception, so it was a bit of a hassle to get them.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience, especially considering it is marketed as a 5-star property. While the facilities are attractive, the service and hospitality fell far below what one would expect from a hotel of this standard. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly felt that the hotel was more focused on rules and charges than on creating a memorable guest experience.

1. Poor Check-in Experience

First impressions matter, and ours was disappointing. The staff member who attended to us, No**, was neither friendly nor welcoming. She rarely smiled and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests.

After a 5-hour journey, we expected a simple gesture such as a welcome drink or refreshing towel—something commonly offered by many 5-star hotels—but nothing was provided. The arrival experience lacked the warmth and hospitality expected of a luxury property.

2. More Focus on Charges Than Hospitality

Upon entering our room, instead of welcome amenities, we were greeted by multiple notices about additional charges. There was a detailed list of penalties for damaged items and another notice stating that only three bottles of water were provided for three guests, with any additional bottles being chargeable.

Rather than feeling welcomed, we immediately felt that the hotel was more concerned about imposing fees than guest comfort.

The same experience continued at breakfast. We were greeted with reminders that food wastage would incur charges and that slippers were not allowed.

However, we saw several guests wearing slippers and even pyjamas, yet nothing was said to them. We respected the rules but found it frustrating that they were enforced inconsistently. When I highlighted this to the restaurant manager, she simply gave me a blank look without any explanation or response.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
Pros:

The location is very good. It is not far from Sa Pa town center. There are lots of outdoor space to move around and enjoy the fantastic views. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The service staff is one of the best I have ever encountered. The hotel manager is really friendly and helpful.

Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön, viel Natur und Garten. Das Frühstück ist phänomenal, eine riesige Auswahl unsere Kids haben immer etwas gefunden. Die Zimmer wurden bestens gereinigt und auch das Schwimmbad war toll.

The gardens and views were fantastic.

Beautiful hotel & views
Pros:

Beautiful facilities and garden paths. Breakfast selection range was fantastic with a great view of the misty mountains. It was my wife's birthday and the hotel surprised us with a cake whilst we had breakfast - very thoughtful, thank you for making her day that much more special. All the staff were very friendly from Merry at the front desk to all the F&B staff at breakfast.

Pros:

GM Steve Tan was so warm - we'd see him every morning working at the hot station serving up eggs, pancakes, and making recommendations as to the various food choices. The client service lady would also be checking on us, and our itinerary for the day and helped us make plans with tickets and bookings.

The rooms were also very spacious, and I loved the lobbies at each floor leading to the rooms.

The shuttle into the city centre, and buggies to our rooms were also excellent.

Cons:

The weather, nothing you can control. It was foggy throughout our stay :(
