Will come back for location and reception area facility
Pros:

Bathrooms were huge, rooms were modern. Reception with wine and wiskey tasting 24x7. Condiments with different variety at different hour+ free chocolates at night. The best concept ever

Cons:

Rooms were not clean enough, tables had soo much dirt. Room service left the room 25% done

Very nice hotel but very pricey in school holidays.
Pros:

Location. View. Well appointed rooms, as you would expect for the price.

Cons:

Renovating, didn’t see any notification on this. Although guest areas seemed mostly unaffected. Don’t like 10am and 3pm check in. We checked in just before 3pm and had to wait for our room to be cleaned. The staff member checking us in asked what we had planned for the day, at 3.15pm…I said a couple of drinks and dinner…plus pot luck parking on the street, or pay $50 per day

The perfect place to feel like home during a week stay in Queenstown
Pros:

Views from the bedroom and the vibe of the hotel

Cons:

It didn’t bother me as I know about renovation and construction however the QT is currently undergoing a large extension and expansion which has a few changes to exiting the building

We look forward to experiencing the hotel once all renovations are completed
Pros:

The hotel’s location and interior are fantastic. The rooms are very clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable.

Cons:

During our stay, the hotel failed to inform us that they were undergoing extensive renovations. Consequently, all facilities were offline. Furthermore, there was no communication about the concierge relocating to the Esplanade, which made navigation a bit tricky.

Amazing and luxurious Queenstown stay
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at QT and didn't want to leave. The little treats we received every night was such a welcome surprise. The staff were all amazing and super attentive taking care of anything we needed. Harry at the front desk/driver was super helpful during our stay. The room was amazing and we had a stunning view of both the lake and The Remarkables.

Pros:

Modern, clean, staff welcoming. Treats throughout the day in the lobby. The way the duty manager dealt with our concerns and the remedy offered were on point and what I expect from a property of this standard. The room was excellent ...only problem was the noise from renovations.

Cons:

Well, we were not informed at the time of booking or after that the property was undergoing major renovations. We arrived late on a holiday Fri...was nice and quiet. We went out early after breakfast Sat at 7am. Came back 930 to the room vibrating to hammer drills, saws and hammering which filled the room. I called reception and the receptionist offeree no remedy. Hoping it was short lived i waited an hour ...it was continuous. I recorded several minutes and caught up with the duty manager. Who, after hearing the recording offered several solutions. To top it all the breakfast was cold....even at 7am. All this was addressed to his credit. I understand the renovations are near completion and I am sure they we will only add to a positive experience. It has not put us off a return visit. But check the situation before booking and if needed see if there is a room away from the renovations. The weekend overall was excellent though

Remarkable!
Pros:

The complimentary wine tastings, morning juices and snacks were a nice surprise. The staff were very hospitable - they were always on call and quick to accomodate.

Cons:

Maybe the $50 / $55 buffet breakfast is a bit of a stretch for hotel customers - it was a nice breakfast but for that price you might as well explore the cafes and restaurants in Queenstown for breakfast instead.

Comfortable base for a longer stay
Pros:

I love the QT hotels, always great service and super comfortable for a longer stay. We were upgraded to a larger room as well. I love the comfortable beds and turndown service

Cons:

They were doing renovations to part of the hotel, so had no pool, spa etc available which was a bummer. We also had to switch elevators to get up to our floor

An incredible stay
Pros:

I felt the level of service was exceptional. The rooms were about $150-$200 cheaper than, as an example, the Sofitel. The room was larger, the service was far in excess of expectations and the location was brilliant. The turn-down service every night was unique and had a local flair. The foyer had provisions for 22hrs per day free of charge. In the morning it was freshly squeezed juice and a pastry or similar, the afternoon had wine tasting and cheese and late there was whiskey and cheese.

Cons:

The only complaint I have had little to do with the hotel and more that Google Maps directs you to enter off Brunswick Street. If you are using Google Maps for directions, set it to the bus stop at the front of the hotel on Lake Esplanade.
