Pros:

​I am requesting a refund because the air conditioning inside my room was completely non-functional for the duration of my stay. Despite the hot weather, the AC did not work at all, making the room incredibly uncomfortable and impossible to get a good night's sleep.

​I raised this issue with the front desk during my stay, but it was not resolved

​As a functioning AC is a basic and essential amenity that I paid for, the room was not as advertised on Booking.com. I kindly request that you process a full refund for this inconvenience.

​Because this reservation was made through Booking.com, please let me know if you can initiate the refund directly or if I need to have Booking.com customer service contact you to authorize it.

Pros:

Good location and close to the airport. Ms Mousimi at the reception was very helpfull.

Pros:

This is my 2nd experience with Howard Johnson. 1st time was in Bangalore and now in Kolkata. Everything from check-in to food and cleanliness was good. Pricing was also reasonable.

Cons:

Location is both good and bad. I like the fact the hotel is not on the main road like Holidau Inn Express, but behind Spencer's. But there is no where to walk once you come out but the dirty roads of Kolkata.Nothing that Howard Johnson can do if the road outside is managed badly brother govt. authorities
