Pros:

Great location easy access to the metro station. Very clean comfortable and quiet. The cafe downstairs was a nice place to relax and the friendly staff gave the hotel a very welcoming feel.
Breakfast rolls were delicious. Highly recommended for a solo traveler.

Pros:

Really cozy hotel with friendly staff. Location is super good and I was able to get everywhere (castle, city art museum, Oasis, trainstation, Osu cannon, shopping streets) easily by foot.

Great staff, great cafe, great room, ok location
Pros:

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly plus spoke English. The downstairs bookstore/cafe area was lovely to hangout in with delicious food and while the room was smaller, it was very well laid out that it wasn’t too troubling (I did have to block a doorway to pack a second suitcase though). The couch was very appreciated after a long day and great for reading. The rain shower had good water pressure and the bathroom didn’t feel small, though the sink lacked counter space.

Cons:

The bathroom smelled a bit like urine despite it being flushed and clean-looking. The cafe was not actually 24 hours, though the bookstore was!

Amazing concept, great location, beware of the sunrise
Pros:

Obviously the main attraction to stay here was the novelty of the cafe and book shop on the ground floor. I received a free drink coupon on arrival, and was told I could take up to two books to my room, like a library system, for the duration of my stay (I could swap them around freely, to a maximum of two at a time). Simply amazing. The room had a separate chair with footstool for reading in, and a recessed overhead light for good ambient light, rather than anything direct and glaring. There was a kettle in the room and branded coffee mugs (which you could also purchase downstairs, along with other merchandise!). My view was looking over the park across the road, which was a lovely backdrop. Location is convenient, just a short walk to a subway station with two lines passing through, one of which is the east-west line that connects to the main Nagoya station, though I just walked the 15-20 minutes along the main road most days. It is also only 15-20 minutes walk in the other direction to the Sekai district, with multiple shopping malls, the Mirai tower, and the Oasis events venue.

Cons:

The downside to the aspect of my room was that it faced east, and the sunrise was at around 5am or earlier, and the window blind was not very effective. Really needs to have a black-out blind as well. However this was only an issue on the few nights that I stayed out late to enjoy the city lights at night. Also the pillow was not very good, but that is common in most places I have stayed in Japan.

Pour profiter du Ghibli Park, foncez dans cet hôtel ! À 5 minutes à pieds d’une bouche de metro, c’est parfait

Staff were extremely nice, the guy who checked us in apologised for his English but he was great and spoke it very well. The hotel is beautiful and the book hire is the cherry on top. 10/10
