Been staying at marriott for years and am Gold member.
I had the worst experience ever and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone as the frontdesk night staff are shady scammers.
I had booking through marriott application as always and is paid and confirmed Jul 30-31
I arrived at the hotel just before midnight around 11:30 PM on July 30 and the external door was locked so I called front desk the guy named Chanton or something like that he opened and he was kinda rude the way he treated me. I didn’t mind and respectfully gave him my ID and my Marriott credit card and he said I checked out at first!! Then I told him that is not true I just arrived to the city and have the the confirmation here still in my marriott application and after showing him he said we sold your room and we do not have it anymore then I explained that this is not my issue I didn’t cancel and I didn’t check out and the room is still there valid and active in my account and he was extremely rude and aggressive without any reason I was so respectful I asked him to call a manager or provide me with another room without me paying again because I already paid for my room and it’s not my issue that you sold my room. He said we do not have manager and I cannot help you. So I left and I called the marriott support which I had to go to another marriott and pay again, the marriott support promised me of refund but I didn’t get it yet.
They made an internal case and I hope they do something about that guy and refund my money.
Now it’s July 31 Morning and I still have that booking available and confirmed and I’m attaching a screenshot as evidence.
Thank you Marriott for everything but this was the worst marriott experience i went through ever.
In town
I have nothing bad to say
Friendly and accommodating staff
Very clean, great staff, fantastic well appointed rooms for this level of hotel
Super Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück. Gym. Parken okay. Großes helles Zimmer.
Parken könnte günstiger sein.
We stayed four nights at this hotel to escape the extreme heat dome affecting the Phoenix area. Hotel is well located in downtown Flagstaff. Our original assigned room was directly above the swimming pool which resulted in a chlorine infused smell inside the room. Front desk promptly re-assigned another room on an upper floor.
Room was clean and modern. Interior design was typical Res Inn. Breakfast was more upscale than I expected . Parking next to hotel was hit and miss, but there was always space in the designated Res Inn parking lot across street.
There was a pub/restaurant next to the hotel parking but we heard no evening noise. There are many pub/restaurants close to hotel and walkable.
Excellent hotel in a great location with an easy walk to the restaurants and shops. Parking available in the lot across the street which is super convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a full kitchen and everything very modern. The beds were comfortable and a modern bathroom (although water pressure a little weak). Breakfast in the morning was extensive with eggs, sausages, waffles and continental breakfast options. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
Right next to the park and a great breakfast
Fee for WiFi and parking. I expect a parking fee but not a WiFi fee.
Schöne zentral gelegene Unterkunft, leckeres Frühstück mit Porzellangeschirr. Sehr freundliches Personal!

we liked the location to Amtrak station, it was in walking distance and the restaurants were in walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. no complaints here.
no complaints. very thing was perfect.
Clean, close to town.
This is a solid hotel, but showing its age a bit. Rooms are large, comfortable and well-laid out. Good little kitchen and two work places. Nice glass walk-in shower. All in all quite comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre at best and are room seemed to be miles from the elevator. It is however, right downtown Flagstaff with great restaurants, bars and shops at your doorstep.
