Pros:

I like the location. Smack in the middle of Swanseaa main strip.
I've stayed here a few times now.
This stay was my first time in a room with a private bathroom & my daughter & I thought it was great. Comfortable bed, nice new bathroom. Could look out the window and see my car down in the carpark.

Cons:

The doors are a bit stiff, have to pull them hard shut & it's a bit loud, we were worried about upsetting the other rooms each time we came in & out because of this.

Pros:

I loved the renovations to the pub. Location was good. Food at the pub is always good. Friendly staff.

Cons:

I didn't like the noise late at night, and yes I am aware that I stayed at a pub. Sounded more like machinery. Also trying to find the way out in the morning was a little issue, clear instructions would have been appreciated.
Also I would recommend being able to open the window as the room was stuffy.

Nice except for the above and almost having car broken into
Pros:

We have stayed many times and booked a room advertised with a bath and when I questioned it apparently no baths at all so I’m not sure why they advertised it with a bath. Booking dot com palmed us off back to the hotel and the hotel didn’t want ti know about and blamed booking dot com

Cons:

Compensation for the false advertising

Nice place for a nightstop.
Pros:

Good food in the pub. Live music. Easy checkin and check out. Great staff. Good newly renovated share bathrooms, pressure and hot water excellent. Room was basic but core and tidy. Comfy for a night.

Cons:

Carpet in the bedroom was way past disgusting in room 7 and needs replacing.

If all you're looking for is a bed for the night with zero trimmings, this is for you :)
Pros:

No breakfast.The deal was room only, which was fine.

Cons:

I was surprised that the room did not have a kettle or fridge, or any tea/coffee making facilities. Not even a glass! Nor a wardrobe or place too hang clothes!!

Nice place to eat , not so good for stay overnight
Pros:

The staff is friendly and helpful

Cons:

We were 3 people travelling between jobs , because we didn’t finish our jobs, we had to stay for an overnight, so I rented two rooms.
The first room the towels were smelling bad. But on the second room there was an old broken double seat sofa, that was disgusting .
Both rooms don’t provide the usual shampoo and conditioner.
Both rooms the blinds cannot be used, also we can hear the noise , from outside, unfortunately the sound wake us more than once.
The friendly staff gave me a new towel, but they can’t do much about the sofa

Clean, quiet hostel-like accommodation
Pros:

Convienient location, quiet, despite being over the pub. I liked the use of a shated kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunches. Clean and modern shared bathroom - like a hostel. The bar staff were most helpful

Cons:

We were unable to open the wiinow in our room, so despite aircon and a fan, the room air was a bit stuffy..

Pros:

I liked how relaxed it was. Loved sitting on the balcony at night & to watch the Anzac Day March

Had to walk around the other side of building for ladies showers & toilet (especially when it was night)
