Pros:

The location was great for everything in the area.

Cons:

The lady at reception was not offensive but not welcoming and offered no information about the hotel when we arrived. No information about available facilities, the area, or checking out, nothing. Literally just handed us our keys and didnt even direct us to the lifts or where to go. We found this strange to have someone like this at the front desk. She was there most of our stay. The young man at reception was way more animated and friendly and offered us help with parking.

Also, there was no fresh air, only reverse cycle air-conditioning but this is not uncommon these days.

Would love to come and stay again
Pros:

The staff were so friendly, they went above and beyond with suggestions for coffee, restaurants and things to see and do. The little extras were a nice touch. Bottled water in the fridge, Tim Tams. Coffee, pasties and fruit available in the foyer. The location was just amazing. Bus stop so close by, if you needed to get anywhere. Go and explore the surrounding streets and areas, you find things tucked away.

Cons:

The rooms are smaller, so no room for a sofa. But it is an old and interesting hotel, so honestly not really a problem.

Fabulous
Pros:

Great location right in the heart of Paddington and an easy walk to the Entertainment Quarter. Lovely clean room with a comfortable bed a nice bathroom. Loved the little complimentary ‘help yourself’ cafe in the foyer, serving tea, coffee, fruit, pastries and muffins!

Great hotel for a short stay in one of the most beautiful areas of Sydney.
Pros:

Beautiful lobby. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. And excellent location.

Cons:

The beds were a little soft for my liking and there was no electric socket in the bathroom for the hairdryer, but everything else was fabulous .

The bed. I have stayed here multiple tomes in different rooms and the beds are all bad. Too soft and you roll into the middle. They really need to replace them and then everything would be 💯

Pros:

The place overall was very clean and the receptionists were nice. I really like the little bakery stuff near the kitchen.

Cons:

The room windows are either blurred or have a bad view. I wouldn't complain about the bad view because the hotel is on a very busy street, but the blurred windows blocked all the sunlights.
