Pros:

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Place has a nostalgic feeling with very old newspaper cuttings and so on. Breakfast was included and i believed they were purchased, but the staff made it presentable on plates.

Cons:

Shared common toilet, aircon was not working, bed was not comfortable, no facilities at all.

A great opportunity lost
Pros:

Centrally located in Old Town. A spacious room with characterful common areas. A quirky collection of objects from a family's past.

Cons:

What was originally shabby chic is now just shabby. Our "private bathroom" had all the charm of a crime scene. With poor drainage, standing water and open vents lacking fly screens it was a breeding ground for mosquitos. It lacked any professional finish with cracked tiles ,raw brickwork and cement and it was dirty. Only the seldom seen owner spoke any English and even the taxi he ordered for us ended up putting us on the wrong bus. Loud music played outside our bedroom window for 10hours per day and what staff there were were largely invisible. Don't think of staying here unless you can speak Thai.

Passable
Cons:

The mattresses at the attics should be improved with better quality beds. The ladder should be safer and easier for ascending and descending.

A novel and original place in a great location. If you're looking for comfort and modern fixtures
Pros:

The place was clean, loads of interesting antiques everywhere in the hotel.
An unusual place to stay.
Great location in the old town close to the lake

Cons:

The design of the room was a little raw for my liking. Lots of exposed broken brick and unpolished concrete, they took the cool edgy look of industrial rawness to its extreme in the rooms. It felt old and unfinished rather than cool and edgy. Dated furniture added to this feel. It took away from comfort imo.

Cons:

No warm water, no window, no window or anything in the bathroom. Bathroom very ugly. Light all night from corridor and outside work...

Please don’t go to this hometel.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The main entrance. No parking. Not hygienic. Urine smell near the entrance. All the room toilets are not in good condition. Too smelly. Broke tiles in the toilet. Too small stairs, can’t even go or claim up to the room on top. Can’t even contact them. They can’t communicate properly. Even no reply to the emails. Really frustrated with the owner.

Lovely character building in the heart of Old Town Songkhla (or Singora). Definitely worth it.
Pros:

The breakfast choices are limited, if you want a western breakfast you won’t get one. We love SE Asian food so no problem for us. The building is lovely and the rooms are spacious. There are lots of knick knacks and historic items around in the common areas. Definitely recommend.

Cons:

Hot breakfast was served cold so not fresh made at the hotel. Had to nominate a time for breakfast which seems weird since it’s not made there.
