I loved everything about it. It was beautiful and up-to-date with beautiful decor and furniture. Everyone was very friendly and the location was very good. I love Wyndham's Homewood Suites everywhere we go.

The only thing that I didn’t like was the breakfast. I am not sure who thinks pork meat like bbq is good for breakfast. And it didn’t ever change.

Anything besides the location
If you're planning a trip to the Historic District, look no further than the Homewood Suites. The location and rooms are great, but it’s the staff that really deserves six stars.
Huge shoutout to Carlos at the front desk for giving the warmest welcome and making check-in an absolute breeze. He was incredibly helpful and attentive right from the start.
Make sure you stop by the bar during your stay, too. Eddie and Ava run the show there and they are fantastic. They’re both super friendly, make excellent drinks, and bring a great vibe to the space. It felt like catching up with old friends every time I stopped by.
The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was awesome.
Bar was not open most days.
Disappointed in the condition of suite furnishings, pool closed for maintenance, guest was allowed to bring a pit bull in their room

The price was high but probably because it was orientation week for the College of Charleston and didn’t realize this.
Got there 1 o’clock pm - room not ready till about 300- Jacob at front was very pleasant - no restaurant here but several within short walk - room clean - got one with tub and fireplace - only thing was only 1 air vent in the living room - so the bed room was not as cool ( no door to bed room ) only valet parking - occ the Attendant was not there had to wait a few minutes - did uber for local trips - hard to find parking - uber cost about $10 to each location - breakfast was ok - severeal hot items available - along with cereal , boiled eggs , etc- no soft drinks - would recommend
Breakfast was full of hot and cold choices with a mix every day. Room was very spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful. Location was walkable to many spots. Increased security with room keys to operate elevator. Clean facility overall. Snacks and drinks for purchases in lobby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, allowing us to get a quiet and restful night's sleep. The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide variety of food, sides, and sweets to choose from. If we visit Charleston again, we would definitely stay here.
