New, clean, comfortable
They couldn’t issue key cards when we stayed so you couldn’t access parking or enter your room without a staff escort. Extremely inconvenient although I realize it wasn’t really anyone’s fault. They were doing their best but it was still a huge setback as a guest.
The staff was exceptional. Checked in around 1030pm and the front desk lady was very professional and had my keys promptly. Room w/king bed was clean and spacious. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast was the crowning jewel of my stay. Tisa and the gentleman cooking, took very good care of me. Tisa was so sweet and had the best attitude I've seen in a while. Got me set up had great recommendations for breakfast and kept checking on me while I waited. The gentleman who cooked brought my pancakes and bacon out to me and explained that the container was upside down so my pancakes would get smashed up. And the food was very good like back in the old days! Customer service was excellent!
Smallish parking lot
I have to say the manager Richard, is the type of guy WHO will make good on this hotels name. The staff could use some more training and I feel his suborniates need that countability. But Richard reached out to us we didn't have chance to call yet. He not only listened to our gripes HE gave more back to us more than we were expecting or asking and HE may not know this BUT little gifts of apologies and regards sometimes ARE the small gifts THAT MEAN $million dollars at the right needy time. THIS hotel is beautiful be careful with parking situation investigate beforehand. The manager Richard is in the position HE SHOULD be and YES CARES about the little things THAT can mean everything to you !!!
Parking is tricky RESEARCH it. Also ask about breakfast ?? Free or not ?
Convenient
Had to pay for parking
Conveniently located, nice suite rooms
Strong smell of marijuana in the hallway outside our room
Staff for very amazing, very friendly, very accommodating
We have 0 complaints. We were there because our niece just passed away at children's. And we needed somewhere to stay the night. Everybody there was awesome. They're giving me gloves I
The location was great for our event downtown, a 5 min drive away. I also was able to get a great run in before I left at the beautiful park/track 2 blocks away. The breakfast was really good as well.
I requested an ADA room, which I got, however it was far away from the elevator. My mom had a hard time walking that distance with her roller walker. Seems like those rooms should be closer to elevator.
I also had a hard time working the shower but I eventually got it to working.
location and familiar with facility
No hand soap in the bathroom
Nice staff despite the issues they were having.
I didn't get into my room until nearly 10 pm because of a power outage earlier in the day. They couldn't make key cards either.
I didnt like that the full length mirror was inside the closet with no light.
It was very clean and I had a great view
No complaints
Booked Hikton Garden but was moved to Home 2. Breakfast was basic. Scrambled eggs would.be better.
