No direct access to red mrt line (to get to Marina South for Disney Cruise). Noting that it’s right next to 2 different mrt lines (circle and downtown) and a bus stop, hence still a convenient location

Pros:

Perfectly located next to MRT station and walking distance to many areas of interest. We could walk or easily catch train to bus to anywhere. Hotel and room very clean and bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was also good.

La ubicación es buena. Está entre chinatown, orchard, little india y la baía. Aunque llegar a los sitios andando es matador por el calor. También tiene una parada de metro en frente del hotel.
El desayuno correcto, les cuesta un poco reponer.
La piscina y la habitación bien.

Un poco más de sombra en la piscina estaría bien.

Perfekte Lage… Sehr sauber… Superpool auf dem Dach… Sehr zu empfehlen

Die Lage war perfekt… Nur kurze Wege zu den Bussen und zu der U-Bahn-Station. Zudem viele Geschäfte und Restaurants im Umfeld das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer waren sauber und schick

Cons:

Einziger Punkt zu meckern: in heutigen Zeiten sollte der Fernseher ein Smart TV sein… Es gab nur auswärtige Sender, und man konnte kein Streaming TV nutzen

Pros:

La piscina, jacuzzi y las vistas son espectaculares! La habitación muy amplia y cama muy cómoda. El personas muy atentos y una vez hicimos el check out pudimos dejar las maletas en recepción y al recogerlas nos dejaron subir a la piscina para darnos una ducha y refrescarnos antes de coger el avión a hong Kong. Muy agradecido.

Bed bugs :(
Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

Sadly we both woke up with about 40 bites which the pharmacist later confirmed to be bed bugs.
We were 100% convinced it was a result of staying at Oakwood as we had previously staying in the same hotel for 7 nights and did not have any bites.
Whilst the staff were pleasant when we reported it the next morning, and have been since via email, they have refused to accept responsibility, stating they did not find any evidence in the room, and have refused to refund, or even partly refund the cost of the room. Such a bad end to our Malaysia and Singapore holiday as we’re still suffering with them 4 weeks later.

Convenient and Comfortable.
Pros:

Central location to the places I planned on going. Convenient distance to MRT stations. Room was spacious.

Cons:

The noise can filter into the room especially in front of the lift. It got a bit noisy when people outside waits for the lift.
The waiting area for drop off is a bit stressful as there is no proper lobby for cars to stop.
