The location was brilliant for close proximity to the University, we went for an open day and could easily walk from the hotel. The hotel is modern and the room was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. Its is far from the city centre but close to a bus route or Uber is always available. The hotel has a good restaurant but we only had breakfast there. I used the gym and even though small it was good enough for a decent workout. There are some cafes near the campus and a couple of super markets very close to the hotel.

Staff were helpful
There was no on-site parking and this must be made clear to customers before they make a booking.
The staff are awesome, requested balloons as it was my son’s birthday and it was top notch! We loved the family room, enjoyed the bath and the bed is huge and comfy!
The only thing that didn’t work was the bathtub in one of the room won’t stop the water to drain, so we had to use the other bathtub. We have reported this to the reception.
Brilliantly located near University and parking. Very quiet room which was well appointed
Everything was fine on the whole. Breakfast was understandably crowded but we arrived at peak time so no surprises.
Very central
Nothing
We have stayed at the hotel several times and find the staff really nice. Even though this time they were extremely busy with graduations the staff remained polite helpful and cheerful. The breakfast is really good and eggs are cooked fresh for your request.
Nothing really but disappointing to find our room wasn’t serviced after the graduation, which was too late to do anything about, meaning we had to make do with wet towels, no coffee and no water, there was a note pushed under our door saying we had requested privacy but we hadn’t so can only assume we were confused with another room. This is the first time it has ever happened so we accept that on this occasion they were extremely busy.
Good location
Parking facilities. Expensive for what it provided rooms could have been bigger.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the University.
Hardly anything to criticise. The breakfast was great and very tasty apart from a slightly undercooked fried egg!
Staff friendly, nice soap in room
Bed a bit too soft
Location and layout
Staff not flexible and some not helpful especially lady at the restaurant said we can’t dine and have no options.
Sausages were pink and raw in the middle the egg was under cooked the food was stone cold. I did show a waiter he didn’t seem that bothered.
Our rooms bathroom was woeful room 303. The shower leaked everywhere the toilet had problem flushing. We used every towel to mop up the flood from trying to take a shower. The shower would not stay hot and made a horrendous noise.
Beautiful and great staff
We’ve stayed here several times and have always had a fantastic experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean and amazing views over the city. Breakfast buffet has plenty of choice. The location is ideal if you are visiting the universities. The staff are amazing - helpful and professional. We would particularly like to mention Thomas at the hotel reception who is always polite, friendly and always happy to help and greets you with a smile.
