Location and comfortable
The lifts have to be some of the worst in any hotel I have ever stayed. They are incredibly slow, wait for ever and very frustrating. This needs to be fixed. You cannot market yourself as a premium hotel and charge the price you do and then have terrible lifts that just ruin the experience.

Location is very good.
Bed comfortable, had a good nights sleep, and room facilities adequate.
Good to see non dairy alternatives in buffet breakfast without having to request.
Cleanliness is very poor. Floors in room and communal areas really do need a thorough clean. For example floor upstairs in restaurant clearly hadn't been cleaned from previous night .. very dirty and sticky. Quite nasty when your shoes stick to the floor.
Breakfast buffet adequate however presentation could be improved upon. Staff lacking basic training, eg had to ask for spoons to be replenished and handed a serving spoon rather than a dessert spoon to eat yoghurt with.
Staff on reception at check out asked how our stay was, mentioned the cleanliness issues however he clearly wasn't actually listening as he mumbled some sort of acknowledgment and then said "pardon?".
If you don't want to receive feedback then don't ask for it.
Would we stay again .. No, which is a shame. Hotel could be so much more if a little effort was put in.

That bar shut for private function this was not advertised at booking, part reason booked was for rooftop bar, for £370 no breakfast included very poor

It was a bit noisy from either from next door or from the upper floors.. After 7.00am you could not sleep because of the noise.
