Cons:

I booked two rooms at this 4-star hotel and this was already my seventh stay here. As a hotel member, I even received a Toblerone as a welcome gift at check-in – unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of this visit.

As soon as I entered the hotel, I should have been concerned: several letters were missing from the hotel name at the reception desk. It looked neglected and, unfortunately, turned out to be a sign of what was to come.

The first room was dirty, and the shower drain was blocked. Within a few minutes, the entire bathroom was flooded. We had to use towels to prevent even more water damage. When we reported the issue at reception, we were told that the responsible staff member had already gone home and that someone would look at it the following morning. Despite our towels being completely soaked, we were not given any fresh ones.

The second room was even dirtier. There were red stains on the toilet and on the wall tiles, as well as a brown stain on the headboard of the bed.

We complained again that evening but were once more told to wait until the next day. The following morning, we raised the issue again. The manager was not on site and refused to speak to us on the phone. Instead of offering a solution, we were required to pay for both rooms in full and were told to leave the hotel within 30 minutes.

For a 4-star hotel, both the condition of the rooms and the way our legitimate complaints were handled are completely unacceptable. What makes this even more disappointing is that this was my seventh stay at the hotel, so I expected a much higher standard of quality and customer service.

After this experience, I will definitely not book this hotel again and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it to other travelers.

Pros:

Good bed and a very nice breakfast.

Cons:

The service outside on the terrace was slow. It took a while before someone came to our table to take our order. The olives we ordered with the drinks came long after we finished our drinks.

Goed verblijf voor 1 nacht.
Pros:

Het personeel sprak voornamelijk Engels. Het ontbijt was in orde. Kort bij het centrum.

Cons:

De kamer was niet voldoende verduisterd. De overgordijnen lieten nog te veel licht door 's morgens.
Parkeren in Den Haag is duur.

Leuk, maar met mindere afloop

Het bed was heerlijk en lekker groot.

Cons:

We hadden onze tassen van het shoppen op de kamer gezet. Nadat we terugkwamen, kwamen we tot de ontdekking dat er een tas miste met nog 2 cadeautjes erin. Gemeld bij de balie, maar die stuurde ons van kastje naar de muur. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik het mailadres van de general manager dat ik maar een bericht moest sturen.... Echt een domper op ons midweekendje weg. 😒

Very nice but organization needs improvement
Pros:

Very nice location, building and styling.

Cons:

We needed to wait more than an hour, after 3pm, to get access to our room (cleaning staff changed and was not ready in time). We were offered a free soft drink. Nice gesture. But waiting so long while you’ve other things planned is not nice.

Bedden en kussens zeer goed. Heb de hele nacht doorgeslapen. Gewoon een aanrader.

Heerlijk nachtje weg!
Pros:

Ruime, luxe kamer en badkamer, mooie inrichting hotel, goede ligging in centrum zonder herrie, heerlijk ontbijt a la carte maar ook mooi verzorgd buffet, vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

De kamer bleef erg warm, airco werkte niet goed kennelijk. Was jammer.
