We were scammed by a different so called 5 star hotel, so we checked out early and checked into the intercontinental. This hotel was great and actually a 5 star- clean, comfy, staff were courteous and the best was the breakfast, such a variety!
The location is far from the old town and tourist sites but we were fine with getting a grab in the morning, spending time in the main touristy area and then returning in the evening.

I asked a staff Hong to find out more about Vietnam and she shared her personal experiences and recommendations with me. Her hospitality and enthusiasms were clearly demonstrated. I had a wonderful evening because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the team of staff at Club Intercontinental. Being first time in Hanoi, that experience gave me a good impression of Hanoi because of these wonderful people.
My group of 4 had a 3-day vacation at this hotel. The rooms were extremely quiet, well appointed, and with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were superb, with a great soaking tub that a few of us used more than once.
My stay at InterContinental Landmark 72 Hanoi with my father will remain a very memorable experience. In particular, I would like to highlight the outstanding support from the trainees, Nguyen Tran Khanh Linh and Nguyen Thi Lan Anh.
When we returned to the hotel after missing dinner, they kindly assisted us with ordering food through the local app (Grab), helping us choose the menu and ensuring everything was delivered smoothly to our room. In addition, they provided thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, things to be cautious about during the trip, and even suggested a list of gifts for family and friends.
Their support felt very much like that of a concierge, and what impressed me most was their proactive attitude and genuine care, especially as trainees. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
Thanks to them, our trip became much more enjoyable and memorable. I sincerely appreciate their kindness and dedication.
Rooms were large and comfortable, great views, sound proof rooms, customer service was great, breakfast included a lot of choices, bathroom layout was perfect with great amenities.
The long travel down to pool and exit
Early check-in and late checkout was the best. Beautiful afternoon tea in Club Lounge. The manager Chi was exceptional. Chi provided so much information that we need to know of the areas that we wanted to visit. Not only that she gave us a wonderful gift before we left, Chi also called the next hotel that we were going to so that we can get a room upgrade. And due to her diligence and prompt service, the staff members at the next hotel already knew about us before we even got there.
Nothing. We loved everything. From the A-la-carte breakfast to evening cocktails. Will definitely stay at L72 again when we're back in Hanoi.
Such an amazing hotel property 72 floors high up above the city.. what makes this hotel special is its service delivery from check in to check out… as a retired hotelier there is no doubt this team is lead by an experienced hands on leader.. Food and Beverage was also presented and wonderfully done .. Breakfast selections were thorough and completely satisfying all cultures.. thank you to all the service personnel for an amazing stay with my family

The breakfast spread is great as per asian hotel standards and vegetarian option was available.
Room are large and bed is comfortable with a walk in shower as well as a bath tub.
Very strange set-up. They have the best concierge service I’ve ever seen. Huyen was fantastic and helped me solve issues with my tickets very quick. She is a very nice lady, educated, very capable and always willing to help. Really was the best.
We found the hotel to be a perfect location. Staff were amazing, extremely polite and courteous. Room was very comfortable, beautifully prepared for arrival. Restaurant and executive room were well located and had an extensive range of food and drink offerings.
Wonderful hotel in Hanoi! Great amenities and services from all staff, especially Hang and Chau from the Club Lounge. Highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling in Hanoi!
