Nice breakfast, handy staff, Recommended
Pros:

Breakfast is exceptionally good, but dinner within hotel in Chinese restaurant is average, not many choices. The Japanese one is very good but price is eye watering .

Cons:

The lift is confusing, room are not spacious , more on French/ Italian level. The airco is to loud- wo airco is hel with airco you are in flight mode. I hated dresding code during breakfast from some nationality- they wearing not adequate clothes for 5* hotel.

good ambience, clean and worth the price
staffs are friendly
good variety of food for breakfast

Cons:

i booked 2 rooms. when i came to check in at 3pm, they told me one of the rooms that i booked was in the middle of cleaning so they told me to check in the first room first and they will call back once the other room is ready
waited till 430pm but still yet to be ready
i had to go to the receptionist and remind them again for it
and sadly the keys were only given to me at 5pm

3 night stay family visit in PJ.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and made an effort to make me feel welcome. Bed was very comfortable. Room 3010 has an excellent view of the city. The Sala bar poolside has the same view which is lovely to enjoy with an ice cold Tiger beer. The gym dumbbell weights go up to 22kg which is fantastic for a hotel gym.

Cons:

I was visiting family in PJ so this location was excellent for my stay. If however you wish to walk the city, it’s not a simple exit the hotel and take the metro. It’s half a hour to 40 mins into town dependent on traffic and how you commute. I’ve stayed at the pavilion hotel previously and have been spoilt with accessibility. Not the hotel’s fault, just depends on what you want. Do your research!

What is the hotel’s fault - The rooftop pool and gym are great however if you are male you are unable to access the toilets on that floor whilst the bar is closed in the morning. There are however two ladies toilets accessible… doesn’t make much sense.

The phone in the room malfunctioned whilst calling guest services and when I reported it was advised an engineer would attend however it remained unfixed for the 3 night stay. There was also a strange smell of sewage emanating from the bathroom at around 2:00pm each day. It would dissipate in the late afternoon however.

Pros:

The room was nice and well kept. The shampoo and conditioner was nice and the showers were excellent. View was okay and overall the room was really great. The TV channels were alright but may require additional channels.

Cons:

The fridge was not as cold as I would have liked but overall it was okay. The channels on the tele could have been more but it was adequate.
