Room good size, bathroom clean, shower awesome, location perfect - central but quiet a half block off Union Street.

Excellent short break and lovely small hotel
Pros:

Great location, easy to find. The bathroom was lovely; the shower had great pressure and we appreciated the isle of arran soaps. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we got the chance to speak.

Cons:

It did not bother us... but it is true that it is very noisy on a saturday night, even with the window shut. So would not be great if you are a light sleeper - or take earplugs.
