Great accomodation in a lovely setting near the airport.
Pros:

Great location for the airport and the hire car depots. Was much more than that though. Very good room and en-suite. Near the end of the peninsular with a short walk to lighthouse and a lovely cafe and great restaurant. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Nous avons aimé l’emplacement de l’hôtel, la superficie de la chambre et les équipements, ainsi que la vue sur la mer.

Cons:

Le rideau de douche n’est pas top et laisse passer l’eau par le dessous.

Das Hotel hat uns überzeugt.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt an der Nordwestspitze des Reykjanes-Halbinsel und nur gut zehn Autominuten vom Flughafen Keflavik entfernt. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind sehr schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Geparkt wird direkt vor dem Haus. Frühstück war sehr gut, es wurde allerdings kein Abendessen angeboten. Im Umkreis gibt es auch nicht viele Restaurants. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Rundfahrten und Spaziergänge.

Cons:

Ein kleines Restaurant für Abendessen wäre schön.

Lovely place to stay
Pros:

I was only there one night and wished I had booked more. There is a lot to do in the area. It was nice taking a walk around the sea wall and the lighthouses. The birds in the area were fun to watch.

The room was nice, people helpful and they even gave me breakfast to go when I had an early flight. The airport is 15 minutes away which made it super convenient for an early flight.

Ein tolles Hotel für Gäste, die dem Trubel des Alltags entfliehen möchten.
Pros:

Wir haben die idyllisches Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe des alten Leuchtturms und der Küste sehr genossen und das Hotel bewusst nach diesen Kriterien ausgewählt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist für isländische Verhältnisse ausgesprochen gut.
Die Lage zum internationalen Flughafen Keflavik ist perfekt. Das Hotel ist allerdings nur per Taxi (für unsere Verhältnisse teuer) oder Leihwagen zu erreichen.

Cons:

Das "Frühstücksbuffet" war häufig schon nach kurzer Zeit (und dem Besuch weniger Gäste) sehr "ausgedünnt" und wurde dann sehr zögerlich in Teilen wieder aufgefüllt; hier ist noch entsprechende Luft nach oben.
Das ehemals hauseigene Restaurant hat inzwischen gänzlich geschlossen; es gibt daher nur die Möglichkeit, sich außer Haus zu verpflegen (dort nur 1 Restaurant am Museum beim Leuchtturm). - Das Frühstück wird aber im Hotel serviert.

Quick stay, in and out, pleasant staff.
Pros:

Location is all, having a rental car and needing to give it back early the next day, this place is a great choice. For those leaving early to face a flight they provide sandwiches if one is too early for breakfast, very welcome.
