Friendly staff, good food

We had the most beautiful room, sparkling bathroom, cool room even in the hot weather. Great fan too if you needed further cooling. The staff were so friendly. The food here is phenomenal. We tried a lot of the items on the menu and each one was amazing. It's really good food and really good hospitality done very well.

The location, the atmosphere, how well the cottage was equiped, the fresh baked cookies we received, the delicious breakfast and dinner at the pub.

Location is picturesque and beautiful. Dinner at the inn was sublime.

We weren’t sure if the GPS was sending us to the right place. When we came around the corner my husband said “look at that place, I hope that’s it” and is was. We were really pleased with the location, atmosphere, staff and food.

De rustige locatie, het prachtig ingerichte huis (plum cottage) en de vriendelijkheid van de staff. En natuurlijk de karakteristieke kenmerken van de Inn, geweldig!! Ontbijt was ook fantastisch, keuze uit lekkere warme gerechten aangevuld met yoghurt/muesli en toast. Zou hier zeker weer komen!

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt completely at home. This is truly a unique place with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. When we mentioned that we hadn't had time to buy any groceries, they even offered to provide us with fresh bread for breakfast the next morning. It was such a generous gesture.

We stayed in the beautiful cottage, which had everything we could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely, high-quality bed linen, and everything was spotless and well maintained. We were also welcomed with a plate of the most delicious homemade cookies and fresh milk in the fridge – such a lovely surprise.

One of the best parts was being able to step outside the cottage, walk just a few steps, and find ourselves in a wonderfully cosy and atmospheric pub.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable experience. We would love to come back!

Lovely old buildings beautifully restored run by friendly helpful people. Eating delicious food on a golden summer evening will live long in the memory. Very comfortable beds and sparkling bathrooms.

Loved everything! Stunning location, staff were helpful and friendly, food was fabulous. Room was comfortable wth a modern bathroom and spotless. Food is sourced locally, they have a barter board where locals can swap veg, poultry or game for bar credit. Food is great quality.
