Pros:

Loved the place & returned twice in 2 months 🥰💕 The room is refined and perfectly hygienic, and all the staffs are great helps also

Shout out to Sony for being the best receptionist everrr. We came soon and expected to check-in at 3pm, surprisingly be supported to move in quickly at 9:30 am with free upgraded!! 🤩

Overall - Absolutely amazing !!

The hotel is spacious, airy, and very clean. The staff members, especially Sonic, Hung, and Thanh, are extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely come back for a second stay

Good location but 3 star hospitality.
Pros:

Location is good.
Staff is not warm enough.
Breakfast very poor.
Basic things like Olives, good amount of Salad options, Cheddar cheese not on the set up. In fact they didn’t have Cheddar cheese in house.
Inspire of informing them on previous day that we are Indian vegetarian and staying for 5 nights hardly any options available

Excellent Hotel
Pros:

We had a wonderful time at the Hilton Da Nang. Our upgrade to a beautiful suite overlooking the river was a welcome surprise. As a diamond member, access was given to the executive lounge which is lucky enough to have a waiter as helpful, friendly and efficient as Hung - a truly gracious young man. Breakfast buffet was excellent; choice of food and service can not be faulted. We also had dinner twice at The Sail bar Restaurant. On both occasions, the freshly prepared food was delicious with a good selection of wine. Whenever we left the hotel the staff on the concierge desk were helpful & friendly and always welcomed us back with big smiles.
Thank you all for making us feel at home during our stay in Da Nang

Комната большая и на хорошем уровне, и кровать, и бельё, и косметические средства - всё отличного качества.
Завтраки на хорошем Европейском уровне, и на любой вкус.

Cons:

Просили заранее поставить цветы в комнату, на годовщину свадьбы.
В итоге нам оставили в номере маленький не съедобный кусочек пирожного.
Попросили ещё один стул чтобы мы вдвоём могли поесть, стул принесли через час.

4 nights well taken of stay, halal options available
Pros:

Checked in 7 June from SIN. Rooms on the 20th floor, Ocean View. Used this as our base for Da Nang + Hoi An + Ba Na Hills.

*Location*: Central, literally right in front of the Han River. 50 Bach Dang St puts you within walking distance to the Dragon Bridge show, Han Market, and an array of shops and cafes. ∼45 mins to Hoi An and Ba Na Hills.

*Service — the main highlight*: 5-star service from all the staff. Greeted by Mr Nhan who assisted us with luggage and even laundry pickup one of the days. The rest of the concierge team was great too. Receptionists are all friendly, greeting us each time we passed by. Our check-in was personalised by Mdm Lai. She took care of us from check-in and throughout our stay.

Sonic at the lounge was also very accommodating, and Hung was helpful and courteous during some of our lounge visits. Nonetheless, everyone at the lounge was great.

Special mention for breakfast: Chef Lan understood our halal food needs and perfected our soft-boiled eggs daily. Shoutout to Exec Vieu and Phuong, and staff Thuy and Vu who always served us with smiles and efficiency.

*Rooms*: Spacious with tons of closet space and hangers. Bed was comfy, strong hot water + rainfall shower, and they give 4 bottles of water daily. The tub was huge and comfortable. 55-inch TV, good AC, and most importantly, housekeeping and maintenance were excellent.

*Facilities*: Didn’t really try much, but the pool was surprisingly a little small though nice. They have a 24-hour gym too.

*Watchout*: Nights can be a little noisy — I’m guessing there’s a bar/club next door.

I would definitely come back for sure.

This is a 100% factual review from a loyal, high-value customer on their 3rd consecutive return visit. I fully paid the official retail rates for a luxury Suite to celebrate a precious family wedding anniversary, only to experience their deeply corrupted service culture. Please note that Hilton HQ has already corporate-audited this catastrophic failure and issued a 100% full refund to me, officially confirming the property's severe operational breakdown.

Through this horrific experience, I discovered the shocking reality of this property's management:

The Marketing Trap: They recklessly waste premium suites and resources on superficial online marketing and cheap promotional events to attract one-time tourists.

Neglecting Real VIPs: Meanwhile, a genuine guest who pays the full official rate directly and asks for zero handouts is treated as an invisible afterthought—worse than a random, one-time third-party agency booker.
To send a clear financial message to this incompetent management, I have already canceled all my upcoming corporate business buyer reservations for this July.

If you expect genuine hospitality, professional CRM, and VIP recognition for your hard-earned money, avoid Hilton Da Nang. Your money will be used to subsidize cheap promotions while you are treated with utter contempt.

Great property and location, let down by frontline service — but rescued by the GM
Pros:

The Hilton Da Nang is a genuinely excellent property in a fantastic location, and as a Hilton Gold member I was looked after well. But the stay got off to an alarming start. On being sent up to room 1801, the elevator doors opened to a corridor thick with the smell of paint thinner / methylated spirits — strong enough that my eyes watered, my throat went dry, and I struggled to breathe. It clearly would have seeped into the room overnight.

We asked to move immediately and the team did relocate us quickly to 2301, same room class. I requested a call from the GM, which came that same evening. My initial frustration was that the smell was first attributed to me being “sensitive to paint” — when fumes that overpowering in an open corridor, straight off the lift, are an environmental issue on the whole floor, not guest sensitivity. It also became clear the floor hadn’t been physically checked before that first call.

To his credit, GM Perrera turned it around. He took genuine ownership — checked on me again the following day, confirmed paint work on the floor, assured us no further painting would occur near us, and said he would take steps to replace the paint being used. The rest of the stay was completely fine, no fumes at all. That kind of proactive, personal service recovery is exactly what you hope for.

Breakfast was a highlight — excellent noodles and a great make-your-own banh mi station, though they did forget our coffee order.

The honest overall: a great building in a superb spot, but frontline staff warmth and competency lag a little — broadly, I find service in Vietnam sits about half a notch below Thailand. The property and the GM are the reasons to stay; the everyday service is where there’s room to grow.

24 hour buggy is nice.

Breakfas tbuffet was delicious and had a wide range of choices.

Extra amenities, like the b5 lotion, were delivered quickly. Efficient service.

Cons:

Swimming pools close too early at 7:00 p.m. Better to extend the service hour. It was impossible to swim in daytime due to the scorching sun.

The shower room near the swimming pools had only shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, but no shower gel! When I was taking a shower, the light suddenly went out. I had no choice but to wash myself in darkness!

Room not clean enough. There were stains on the surface of the table and bedside cabinets.

Staff are a bit aloof.
