Terrible experience. Won’t be going back. Should have just slept in my car
Pros:

Really close to the pier and seafront. Staff was nice when I checked in.

Cons:

Room smelt very strong of smoke. Smoking area also directly outside our window so couldn’t open for fresh air to get the small out. The bedding smelt like cigarette smoke too. Only a few parking spots and hard to manoeuvre into due to a small brick wall. Bathroom not clean and sink in bedroom right next to bed. Lift out of service. Creeky floor boards. Bed spring not comfortable at all.

Comfy bed.
Pros:

Perfect place to stay for the beach and family meet up. Basic facilities but great as a base. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Room was looking a little tired, but I believe they are in the process of renovating. Over all, I would stay there again.

Avoid this overpriced place , not fit to be named a hotel

Small room, en-suite shower tiny , wooden toothbrush holder filthy
Squeaky floorboards, up the main stairs & in the room itself
Dirty roll down blinds
Shelf where kettle etc was wonky and looked like it was going to fall off

In desperate need of revamp!

Everything..When we arrived the man at reception didn't even look at us when checking us in..the lift was broken and we were on top floor..once in the room we were very disappointed..it was small..cramped and the furniture was dated, basic and In poor condition. The plug sockets were held together with tape..the lamps flickered..the en suite was old and poorly maintained..We walked straight out and found a better hotel down the road..couldn't really afford to but we couldn't bear the thought of spending our anniversary in such a run down hotel.

Hotel is in a good location, friendly staff, but needs to be refurbished and modernised it was like a hotel from the 70’
Pros:

Location, it is close to arcades, beach and the town. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was very dated, apparently under refurbishment, shower room very small, creaky floorboards, strange almost office style lighting in bedroom. Located next to a vacant building block, parking practically non existent for hotel and car park opposite was ridiculously over priced with tiny parking spaces.

Very dated, not very clean. Had to open the window as room was too hot, then when the bloody seagulls wake up that’s your sleep over 😂😴
