Is this the best place to eat in Northern Ireland. Quite possibly. The views are excellent. The staff lovely and the food in general excellent.
We eat here maybe 2-3 times a year and are never disappointed. Weve been coming here for about 20 years and come all the way from Scotland annually to eat here and stay locally.
My only observation was the steak this time. I advise the menu is changed. It was advertised with fries. The fries were basically chip sticks. You would need to order a side of actual chips. The tomato paste doesn't work. A portobello mushroom and some vine tomatoes is much better.
Nice the sauce is included though. Sorry hope it doesn't come accross as panickity, just honest feedback.
I had the Thai Curry the 2nd night and it was perfect. The spring onions work really well with the rice. Delicious.
Special shout out to our friend Jon Jon who has looked after us for years and makes the best Espresso Martinis.

The room we stayed in was great. Very spacious and comfortable with a great view of the wee harbour. Staff were very friendly and polite and the food was fantastic. What's not to like. Would recommend to anyone.

It was a three bed house with only one bathroom , which is fine for a family but not do good for two couples , upstairs lovely with nice views .

The room was wonderfully furnished and the view from the balcony was second to none. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore the area. The location was very central to all activities in the area.

On a recent visit home with some friends who were visiting Northern Ireland for the first time we had a large family group for dinner . The food, service and standards were all excellent . The Bayview is beautifully decorated and the view from the dining and bar area is truly stunning. A must visit if you are in the area . Thank you Bayview staff for a memorable evening .
