Pros:

My wife got pneumonia and we needed to stay close to a hospital. This hotel wouldn’t allow us to cancel our booking, despite repeated requests from Expedia on our behalf.

Idyllic stay
Pros:

Such a peaceful cabin overlooking the water - really idyllic and calming. We took a boat to an island with deserted white sand beaches - lovely

Smukt men dobbelt priser ift Siem Reap
Pros:

Smukt sted og fine hytter men voldsomt dyre priser for mad, ture og drikke. Meget dårlig service og meget beskidt

Pros:

The location was unique
But the service was horrible, no reaction after your calls. Trying to sell drinks that were 4x the price you ordered.
The breakfast was very, very poor When you asked for a bit more bread, you had to pay for it.
The room wasn't cleaned, no refill of toiletpaper, even after you asked for it.

L originalité
Pros:

Pros:

Beautiful location on the river. We arrived just after rising water levels had impacted the local area. The team at Koh Andes we’re making some repairs but this did not affect us. Our room was lovely with an additional bed for our son. Sitting on our terrace on the edge of the water was very relaxing.. for more adventure you just drop into your kayak and paddle along the river to local waterfalls. There was a mix of local and western style food we enjoyed both burning our stay. A trip out to the mangroves made for a great day!

3 days to never forget
Pros:

Stunning, even in the rainy season, the location is magical with the ever changing light and colour from one rainstorm to the next. It is a long 7 hour drive from Phnom Penh, and then half hour boat ride to the resort but was it worth it.

The rooms are just stunning, floating on the river with doors opening out onto the river. Canoes are provided for you to explore around in, or simply jump in for a refreshing swim.

I have travelled extensively during my life to all continents but this place is a must see. We have just left during the low season when it rains regularly each day, I have been told that during the high season, there are more excursions into the rainforest, fishing for barracuda, waterfalls, nature trails and more.

Food was excellent and the staff tried so very hard to please that any slight flaws that you might expect from a country still new to tourism, could surely be forgiven.

A stunning and magical experience

Perfect escape! Stop thinking and GO!!!!
Pros:

After several days of city chaos, I was looking for a quiet escape and I could not have been happier with my choice!! While this is a great place for couples, it is also a great place to for any solo traveler to relax and recharge. The hospitality was outstanding, the staff was so friendly and eager to help. My room was perfect and had such a wonderful view from the patio. If I ever make it back to Cambodia, I will absolutely make another trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great eco experience - but at a high price
Pros:

We were shocked at being presented a bill for $600 for a 3-hour hike and a fishing trip.

The rooms need more lighting. And a kettle for making hot coffee in the room in the morning.

Everything you want it to be!
Pros:

I arrived at Koh Andet at 3am after a flight delay, but my pick up went flawless and I give the staff so much credit for that. Arriving in the dark (by boat) I couldn't really see the place until morning and when I woke up I was mind blown by the beauty of the resort and the area. Imagine waking up and throwing open the doors to find your personal kayak waiting on your waterfront balcony and views and sounds of the jungle. It was magnificent! And you can hop in your canoe and just take off down the river to little inlets where you can find waterfalls to climb with no one else around! Dream come true.
The rooms are charming and comfortable. Its the perfect experience for those who want to feel part of the enviorment without sacrificing too much comfort. Somewhat reminded me of my luxury tent experiences in Africa, but overwater bungalow style.
I read that other review and I have no idea what they are talking about. I was in Asia for a month and thought the food at Koh Andet was some of the BEST I had the entire trip. I had the homemade pizza at lunch and raved about it so much other guests had it for dinner and loved it just as much. I also loved the potato soup so much I ordered it twice during my trip. And the banana/honey pancakes....don't even get me started...YUM! I will admit the staff's English was limited, but they worked so hard to make everyone's stay special. I visited both 4 Rivers and Rainbow Lodge in the area and by far was happy I was at Koh Andet!
