Pros:

Well placed hotel in the lovely Kirkby Lonsdale. The hotel was much better than we expected. It must be very close to a 4* maybe the fact it has no room fridge for instance. Nice touch leaving water bottles out and glass ones too! Small buffet breakfast and then a variety of cooked options. We had dinner too one night which was very good. Dog friendly and in a good way you feel welcomed and not just accepted. No car park but lots of places around and if you’re up early grab a free spot for an hour whilst breakfasting and then you’re off for the day etc. Thanks everyone we shall return. Lucca loved it!

Ok for a short visit to Kirkby Lonsdale.
Pros:

Centre of town. near other restaurants and bars. Car parking not far away, but no carpark discount from the hotel.

Cons:

Our room wasn't cleaned on the Sunday and we had to ask for toiletries etc. Food wasn't as good as our last visit in 2023 and nobody seemed to be in actively in charge of the dining room. In all fairness there was 2 people who seemed to be doing virtually everything, including booking in / out, and running the bar. There seemed to be a lot of new staff as well who were being trained on the job.
