We’ve stayed many times in Kirkby Lonsdale it it’s a first for this hotel - thought we’d treat ourselves and spend a bit more / wrong move
For the money £170 + £15 for our dog, no bowls, treats etc in the room, there was a lot of mould in the bathroom, broken towel rail, numerous chips in paint, the breakfast 🤷♀️, unfortunately the poached eggs should not be offered, hard as bullets, I specifically asked for toast separately as I don’t like soggy bread and it came buttered (soggy) so could not eat it all in all extremely disappointing and it wasn’t a busy breakfast for such a large establishment

Lovely old building. Perfectly situated for our stay. All areas within the building accessible for us with limited mobility. Staff were brilliant- very friendly and helpful

The room was in no way a superior room! The curtains were sun damaged and now fraying which does which does not feel superior. The bathroom was tatty. The staff were not welcoming, we waited 5 minutes to book in (there was no bell) at reception which was in a busy hallway. The staff are trying to do too much and the customer is lost in this.
Lovely hotel in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale. Very comfortable reception rooms, bar and restaurant. Bed was super comfortable and all staff very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was exceptional.
